Lions 2019 Draft

There's 12 teams with 3 or less wins lol. Ofcourse there is! Lions will fuck this up... guaranteed. That's what we do.

Two DEs and let Ziggy walk unless he wants a cheaper deal (Okwara can be a backup, Kennard back to SAM more), two CBs (cut Lawson so fast), weak side LB as Christian Jones least impactful player ever. Probably a MLB since Davis can't tackle, cover and overpursues but Quinn will give Davis one more shot probably
Cut Glover Quin, never seen a player become so slow in one offseason. Walker gets a shot at FS I guess since there are other holes

New OC
Cut Lang for $$$ since he is always hurt, new right guard. And need offensive line depth at tackle and guard other than Crosby
Slot WR

r u standing by your 10-6 record as the Lion's floor :lmao:

Unfortunately there are some really bad teams this year that will push the Lions back in the draft.

Most notably I see the following teams finishing worse than the Lions:

Giants (terrible)
49ers (offense is dead)
Cardinals (there's still some hope without McCoy)
Bucs (tough division)
Raiders (terrible)
Bills (terrible, but so is that division)

With the Jets, Broncos, and possibly the Browns/Cowboys being at or around the same record.

Fortunately the Lions have a weaker SoS with only the Panthers and Rams bringing that up (unless one of the middling North teams emerge record-wise)

The Lions currently sit at 7th and that's probably where they'll end up within a pick or two.

The Bills and Cardinals games will be crucial and I can easily see the Lions screwing themselves over with wins.

Walter Football currently has 7 DT/DEs going in the top 10, at least one of them should be there for the Lions.

Quinn took a playoff team and turned it back into shit

Job not well done Quinn

You should be fired already

No, he shouldn't be fired just yet. He has at least 2 more yrs to turn this around...

I hope that 3rd round pick next year is a Damn good one and makes the decision to turn this year into complete garbage well worth it

I can't believe people really think Tate is the difference between the playoffs and what they are now. Please rewatch a few drives of Chicago and Detroit and count how many seconds Trubisky had in the pocket vs how much time Stafford had. Tate doesn't fix that. He might alleviate it occasionally as a short range target but he's not even close to the cure. Sub .500 with Tate.

Tate was the difference between a watchable offense sometimes and and a largely unwatchable offense most of the time

That's why we're mediocre.. The only reason all these Patriot people get jobs is because of Tom Brady.

It's just the norm. You see new HC's usually getting 3-4 yrs to turn a team around.
Nothing hard to figure out (maybe for you, Mitch). Assisstant coaches get hired as HC's because of their success as OC's , DC, etc etc. It happens across the NFL. It's real simple for these coaches to become hot commidities as new HC's. Especially when their D's and O's are killing it in the pros or college ranks....
