Pride Of Detroit Lions Ask POD: Time is running out
Training camp is around the corner. But is it really?
Rookies will be reporting to camp for the Texans and Chiefs?the two teams scheduled to open up the 2020 NFL regular season on September 10?on Monday. Yes, we?re talking just a couple days away.
But there are plenty of details the league needs to hammer out with the NFL Players Association. How will the opt-out clause work? Will contracts toll if the season is cancelled? How will the league protect rosters in case of a breakout? How many preseason games will be played?
Both sides have been trading proposals back and forth for the past couple of weeks, but there is no resolution on the table right now. The latest NFL proposal can be seen here:

But there are so many questions that remain unanswered, and with camp starting to get underway, the time is running low.
