Lions hire Darrell Bevell as OC

Jordan, Cameron
Cameron, Jordan

While it's a pretty funny story, confusing these two names really isn't a big deal...probably just an honest mistake by an intern.

It's fucking moronic. An intern?!?! Just stop....

an intern or some other low level peon. Do you actually think someone high up is looking up phone numbers of potential draft picks? Hell no...they tell some peon to get them on the phone.

Complete bullshit. You're sniffing glue if you think a fucking intern or some low level peon is in charge of getting someone on the phone. These are multi million dollar players we're talking about. Now, i'm not saying an owner or even a GM are making these calls but i'll bet my life that scouts are getting these numbers. At the very least!! Not a 19-20 yr old Jimmy that is mopping floors as a side job at your local grocery store. Give me a break dude lol. A fucking intern...lmao....too funny

yup, that's what I said, a part time janitor made the call.

Nobody with an important job is going to look up a phone number for a potential draft pick. They have people for that.

Anyway, like I said, mixing up Jordan Cameron and Cameron Jordan is a pretty defensible mistake. Hell, the Vikings let the clock expire on their first round draft pick...I think two separate years and they are a superior franchise to the Lions too.

I'm going to stick by my assessment that the Lions are the worst franchise in the NFL.

anyway, I'm pretty disappointed that I have spent this much time debating which franchise is worse, the Lions or the Browns. They are both pathetic. It's Friday...I'm going to go out for a beer!

He might as well be a fucking janitor lol.
Nobody important looks up that number?!?! Baaaaahahaaaa. Ok!!! That's so awesome....

It's way beyond a mistake really. It's confusing 2 people with each other. It's moronic.
Nice job deflecting how idiotic the Vikings were too and then trying to compare the Lions lol. This proves what?? Stick to the subject at hand...

Browns....11 wins in 3 fucking yrs. Choke on it lol

so you just pick a 3 year window?

Lions, 1 playoff win in our lifetimes.

That's really the gist of it. It doesn't matter about number of wins vs someone else or playoff appearance's vs someone else but the lack of playoff wins. And when are we going to win our division again?

so you just pick a 3 year window?

Not necessarily but I like "recent" history as well. Who gives a flying fuck that Cleveland won a couple playoff games in the 80's or 90's? NOBODY does. Well, maybe you do lol.

Detroit Lions Breakdown Podcast Episode #95: Everything Offense. 52 minutes.

This is Super Bowl week and since the Lions are not participating Erik and Joe will begin breaking down position groups for next season. This week the focus is on the offense, mainly the skill positions.

The opening of the offensive discussion has to do with the changes in the coaching staff, first the removal of offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter and replacing with Darrell Bevell.

The Lions offensive needs are changing with the hiring of Bevell, his usage of a fullback, and free agent targets with ties to Bevell.

Lions RB coach David Walker walks away from coaching and now the Lions have another offensive coaching position to fill.

QB coach George Godsey is seemingly no longer employed by the Lions and is reportedly going to resume coaching with the Miami Dolphins.

Former Houston Texans QB coach Sean Ryan has been hired by the Lions as their new quarterbacks coach, how will he help Matthew Stafford.

What does it take to fully implement a new playbook on offense?

How long does Erik think the Lions will need to adapt to the new scheme/playbook?

Could there be more coaching changes on the way?

Will the Lions target a backup QB in free agency, the draft or both?

Will Theo Riddick have a role in the new offense?

Which running backs will the Lions be targeting in free agency and the draft?

Could Marvin Jones really end up being be cut/traded?

What might we see from Michael Roberts in 2019?

Dispelling rookie tight end myths on whether they can be completely effective in their rookie seasons.

Are there any skill positions the Lions could target at #8 in the NFL Draft?

Could Iowa tight end T.J. Hockenson work in the new system and would they consider picking him at #8?

I'm sure he's not the only one, I remember they had some good teams for a stretch and kept getting beat by Denver.

Of course he's not the only one. You're probably onboard too with the Browns lol. Yaaaayyyy Browns!!
Lions were pretty good in the 50's too. And the 90's. Think anybody gives a shit??? They don't.

Good in the 90's? Only a Lions fan could say we were good in the 90's because it's the only era we won a playoff game in 6 decades.

And your fucking point is, genius?? Lmao. 90's! 50's!! 1865!!! I don't give a shit when we were good. I want to be good now. That's MY point.
Do you get it now bruh?!?! 100% you don't lol.

Including the 90's. You missed the point completely.
