Part of being a good manager isn't having to know everything......it's knowing what you do well......and what you don't. In this case it sounds as if Wood is doing EXACTLY what he should be doing and bringing in someone who DOES know how to find the best candidate. That's a good thing!

Really though, it's not too early. Yes, he's done nothing for our team yet, but he's got a very good track record as a CEO.

I've worked hand in hand with enough CEO's to know that a good CEO in one business, will be a good CEO in another.

Then I keep seeing thread pop up and when I finally peek in there is tons of rage about RON FUCKING WOOD being hired!! I immediately flip my shit because WHY THE FUCK would Martha Ford hire the guitarist for the ROLLING STONES!?!?

Then I realize it was not the famous musician but just another business type guy just like any other football team. Shame on some of you for making a big deal over nothing. Let this shit die.

no one knew who ron wood even is. Which as you stated can be somewhat prevelant across the NFL. No biggie.

But then the douchebag opened his mouth in his presser and said a bunch of dumb shit. So where I normally would agree to INKs point that yes.....a good CEO can be a good CEO just about anywhere. This dummie casts doubt that he should even be the CEO of a storage shed in like his first 3 minutes on the job.

So yes...I don't know him. yes...he wont be running football ops. But yes....he made it seem very quickly that this was just a inside hire with no thought which added another non intelligent, non qualified piece to this team. Same ol thing weve seen over and over from this organization.
