Waddle does fine when healthy. Same with Reiff. We didn't need a starting tackle
Here is how you should gauge 1st round picks.
OL: You don't expect them to play year one, then you only judge them based on their good games, bad games don't count.
TEs: 2-3 years*, unless he is a blocking TE then 6-7 years
QBs - 8 Years - You can't expect a QB to come in an make a difference and be elite in his first 7 years, not possible.
CBs - 3rd round or later only, there has never been a good 1st round CB period, Mayhew knows this. Smartest man in the room
DT: If taken in top 2 you can declare them greatest player ever at their position. Otherwise, you need to wait until contract year to judge them
RBs: If you get two good games out of them then its a success.
*Subject to change if need to justify Ebron as a good pick
Needs some health on the Oline to get the run game going. Stafford did well first 9. then Calvin/Tate were blanketed last 2. Plus 3 dropped TDs last game.
