Lions, vikings , And Packers Schedules

Man going 10-6 and missing out would really hurt.

Its laughable how badly ESPN wants 6-6 GB to be contenders again, after they jumped them up 13 spots from #24 to #11, knocking on the door of their top 10 Week 14 power rankings. This by virtue of defeating Houston @ home in the snow and cold of Lambeau in December.

Meanwhile heavy road underdogs 8-4 Detroit and 9-3 KC were rewarded for their wins by being dropped one spot from #7 and #6 respectively, so that ESPN could shoehorn perennial faves 7-5 Pittsburgn and 7-5 Baltimore into the #5 and #6 spots. The 8-4 NYG dropped to #14 from #10.

Insane isn't it? I'm surprised they even list us in the playoff picture yet

you do know that ESPN's power rankings have nothing to do with what happens in the playoffs.

You know want is scary right now is that basically if the lions don't have a two game lead over the packers going into that final game on Jan 1 a loss there would likely take them right from div leaders home playoff game right on out of everything, we could even be looking at 9-6 vs 8-7 packers for that last game, packers would have the tie breaker if they beat em twice...lets hope this isn't what happens

Beat the bears then either NY or Dallas and avoid this even being a possible Jan 1 nightmare scenario please

Lions always play Dallas tough and the giants didn't look like much to me against Pitts hell just run the table and make it 12-4

So we all know how bad this franchise has been...but I didn't realize that EVERY SINGLE TEAM IN THE ENTIRE NFC has won a division title at least 3 times since we last won our division title in 1993.

My wife (Packer fan) just deadpanned to me when that graphic came up, "That's the most depressing thing I've heard in a long time. How do you stomach this shit every year?"

Really if the Lions are for real, they should be able to win one of these next two games against playoff bound teams on the road.

Lions have the toughest but only need 1 win hopefully. Bucs/Falcons and Giants and Skins all won which makes WC spots interesting and tougher.

Packers are coming hard and Vikings have a defense to beat Colts and Bears at home. One win for Lions and then the Packers and Vikings have to be perfect. The good news is they play each other which gets rid of one of them if the Lions beat either Giants or Cowboys.

AP supposedly coming back for the Pack-Vikings game on Xmas eve

Jesus even the Buccaneers? Yuck.

Let this sink in. The Bucs have won a Super Bowl. The same team that had some of the worst seasons in the history of the NFL.

I agree with this. Get blown out twice and they would deserve to be home. But, win against GB and they're in.

That's it. It would be nice to win in NY or Dal.....but win against GB and we're in. Now, win another game and finish 11-5 and we would likely get a 1st round bye.....give #9 more time to heal.
