Lions working out Champ Bailey

If we sign Champ and Slay goes back to his benching ways our two starting corners will be a combined age of 70.

lol. Crazy! No way Bailey comes in as a starter unless someone goes down.

If the plan is to keep Suh long term, I have zero issue with how they are going about things. To keep deferring and deferring this money just delays the inevitable. The Lions were very much a victim of the old rookie structure. Calvin, Stafford and Suh were all top 2 picks and got HUGE money. That is no one's fault.

The Lions had to know with the way the rookie salaries were being driven up that it would bite them in the ass adventually. They year they drafted Suh they could have traded back.

they could have not restructured ALL of them on deals that were already shitty in the first place. Mayhew overreacts to just about everything. Stafford shows potential...give him a max deal. Schwartz goes to the playoffs and gets stomped....extend him and want to fire him a year later. The guy just doesn't know how to run a team.

Saw that hit live. Beast mode. Wouldn't want a small school corner though

Oklahoma is a small school? put down the pipe man lol...

Where do you think Broyles played? Do I need to find your post about him, saying he did nothing spectacular at a small school?

What would be funny is if they grabbed Greenwood from Minnesota's PS. Unlikely, because he'd have to stay on the active roster......

What about Seisay? I think the Greenwood experiment is finally over.

Absolutely. I just don't think Champ is the answer. Either way, they have to grab someone if Bentleys ACL is torn, so we'll see.

Lawson played pretty good football last night. Some of it against Victor Cruz, so hopefully he can keep it up!

Most of it was against Cruz, talk about learning under fire!! Don't remember who said Lawson was going to get Bentleys job right out of the gate, but I'm thinking they are correct. Even if Bentleys ok, and remains the starter, we now know that he has a valid replacement there when he goes down again.
