Again, in case you don't realize it. You're not a better fan than other one else and won't be more excited, if we win 12 games, than anyone else. If we all agreed there would be no point in a sports forum.

staff plays the same as last year were a 4 win team again due to a harder schedule.

staff plays like 2011 we win 6 games.

staff/bush have monster years....we win 8 games.

those are my expectations for this year. i made the mistake of letting this boards kool aid drinkers skew me in the wrong direction last year lol....i knew in 2011 we were very lucky to make it to 10 wins. Should have never picked us to win 9 last year.

I'm not a better fan than anyone but I think I rate the talent on this roster better and similar to Mayhew. I feel players can develop from 2012 and don't give up on them after one bad year. I've also watched the games several times way more recently than some distant memory from September-December. I feel alot of people underrate this roster because they only won 4 and forget they won 10 in 2011. I also feel people don't consider the circumstances at the time decisions were made when analyzing Mayhew's past decisions. They also forget Stafford can carry this team(if he is playing to his potential) no matter who is at RB, RG, OLB, RT, CB2, nickel CB and SS. Every position won't be perfect.

Hughes is saying we have cap issuse. We don't as it's under control especially with a Stafford extension. Lions were active in free agency yet again and signed everyone they wanted in 2012, 2011 and 2010 as well. The cap is easily manipulated with the right contracts. Hughes underrates Fox/Hillard and Reiff and our CBs drafted last year. That is fine and neither of us will change our positions until we see more play from them but they have the talent to get it done. Gosder and Backus aren't some irreplaceable players. Reiff may be more talented than Backus by far.

We can argue all you want, but the fact is the Lions are very talented and do have depth at alot of position. Again you can't have incredible depth at every position(it's the nature of the NFL), and sometimes when you do have depth, that depth gets hurt as well (see Don Carey,Lacey,Broyles,Fairley). That was all depth that got hurt on top of other injuries. 2nd string I'll put the Lions against anyone in the league. Alot of Lions 2nd stringers played really well last year including Reiff, Palmer, Fairley, Hill, Don Carey, Bell.

That is pure hateraid if you think Stafford has a monster year and we only win 8 games.

mostly due to schedule. We win 0 games in the conference last year and this year we have to play pitts, cin, bal, NYG, phi, dal, was. Start the season 4 out of first 6 on the road. None of that helps us get to a winning season.

paying suh 22 mil next year isnt a cap issue? Yes i underate fox/hilliard. I dont care about the cbs we drafted last year cause mayhew did the right thing and addressed it in rd 2 of this years draft. Bentley should be moved where he was supposed to be all along....to the dime/nickel packages. Barrign any injuries Green and Greenwood will be exactly where they belong....on the bench and contributing on special teams.

We can 3-4 in the division easy if Stafford is playing well. Cincy, Baltimore, Dallas, Giants(3-1) all at home and at Philly we won last year and we are clealry more talented than them in a rebuild. Plus Tampa, at Cleveland and at Zona(sans turnovers). 10 wins right there with just 3 division wins and 3-1 in the big home games.

Lions can handle Suh's big number easy with a Stafford extensioni which is 100% guaranteed to happen next year. They are carrying Stafford on a big number this 20 million and were very active in free agency. With this draft and 2013 free agency and the 2014 draft, Lions won't have to be very active in free agency in 2014 anyway.

Plus they could always extend Suh too at 12 million per. Lions have done a great job with the cap.

You are literally insane if you have recently watched the games from that shit show of a season "several" times recently. Whose idea of fun is that? Snuggle in for a four hour film sesh of the Arizona game? I can imagine you sitting there with a clipboard in your high school gym shorts with your junk partially hanging out, a too tight "Property of Detroit Lions" sweatshit from the eighties shrunk to a size small from too many washes, and one of those old green and white headbands stained brown from thought sweat. That is the last time we debate anything LKP, god forbid you ever found out any of my personal info, arguing with mental patients can be hazardous to your health. Who admits that?

I've rewatched the games since the end of the season :( Mainly because I only saw maybe 4 this year because of work... but at least now I KNOW I'm insane.

Several times like its the Zapruder film?

I have a subscription to NFL rewind. I watch games in the off season when I am in a mood for football.

If I was in the mood for football the last thing I'd want to watch is the Lions play last year. Maybe bloopers, I could see that.

That is the beauty of NFL Game rewind. You can watch an entire game in 30 minutes. It just shows the plays one right after the other. No commericals, no huddles, just plays. It even has a game film option so you can see the other angles. So no I'm not sitting down for 4 hours watching a game. I can watch 8 games in 4 hours though :) And this is over months whenever my wife is watching some stupid show. I've even watched several Raiders games so I could see Ron Bartell. Which is why I disagree with everyones opinion on Bartell.

And if you really want insane. I rewatched every game in the 0-16 season.

From this day forth, no bashing on the GM. Tony has set the precedent.
