cause he hasnt played and he was a 3rd rd pick? just like our 2nd r pick hasnt really played. just like the 2nd round pick before that is gone already. I cant believe I forgot those three. He has done a nice job filling some major holes. People forget the revolving door that was both guard spots he solidified one two years ago and another this year in the draft. We have missed on some picks but overall he has done a decent job. These dudes act like every other team hits on all their picks and get big money free agents every year. Its just not how it works.

im talking really looking at it. You hate Levy go to the 09 draft and find me a LB in rounds 2 through 7 who is better. I dont care pick a player and then look at who is around him and tell me who is better and what kind of draft grade you had on him at the time. Because since you know all im sure you never miss anything. Like Mike Wallace being drafted within two picks of DW. In between were two other Wrs. Im sure you were all over Wallace right.

Broyles - Lavonte David, Peter Konz, Lamichael James, Casey Hayward all would have hands down produced more than broyles did.

Titus - Orlando Franklin (i mocked him to us), Ben Ijalana

Leshoure - Torrey Smith, Randal Cobb, Kelvin Sheppard, John Moffit, Martez Wilson

not to mention we gave up a pick to move up....i would hope that you agree we havent seen a return on our investment in the leshoure trade. Either that or we can just stop the debate now cause its not fair to debate with mental patients.

Best - Saffold, Tj Ward, Gronk, Zane Beadles,

Spievey- bag of popcorn would be an upgrade but i had navarro bowman mocked to us. Emannuel Sander, asamoah, moeaki, jimmy graham are some others.

Levy/dwill- louis vasquez, mike wallace, ladarius webb...basically any LB with 2 legs can fill a hole beter than levy....pick one.

Levy is a solid starter. Your hindsight hand picking only the good players is pretty stupid though. I'm sure there were other bad players worse than Levy taken around Levy. Plus you bash the LeShoure trade up, how about the Levy trade down which got us SLH who was a good player for 4 years. Levy plus SLH.

Mayhews 2009/2010 drafts and trades were a huge reason we made the playoffs along with Tulloch/Durant/re-sign Houston in free agency and Titus Young's rookie season. 3 years after 0-16 caused by Millen.

-16 turnovers and injuries are a huge reason we missed the playoffs in 2012 despite having a ton of talent. 2011 and 2012 draft can grow enough to help out like the 2009/2010 drafts did. Plus Bush, Quin, Jones and the 2013 class.

Levy was after a trade down and you need to give a 5th round pick in Whitehead more than one year. Hell Whitehead could start this year and do well, neither you nor I know.
