Man, Bernie Sanders is so great

yeah, but turnout for the CA primaries indicates most if not all of those are back in play for Republicans. Wouldn't that be something if the House flipped back?

I don?t think my life would be changed much.

The House has flipped a number of times over the course of the last quarter century and I haven?t noticed the effect very much.

Man, if Bernie Sanders is so great how come he’s getting his ass handed to him by a senile old perv who can barely string together a coherent thought or even a complete sentence?

Personally I think the one suffering BDS are the people who support that senile old fart. But to answer your question, considering the disappointing primary turnout among Bernie?s most ardent backers (young people), I?d be surprised if many of them got off their asses to vote for Biden.

You must've missed my earlier post about how in Texas they closed tons of polling places around college campuses, resulting in 18-22 year olds in those areas having to spend 6-7 hours in line waiting to vote.

Here's more, noting how hard it was to vote on college campuses in East Lansing and Ann Arbor.

Looks like the Democratic establishment has been better at stopping Bernie than the Republican establishment was at stopping Trump.

Or maybe Trump?s crazy loyalists are just crazier than Bernie?s.

Those are some amazing anecdotes - definitely enough to draw sweeping conclusions about voter suppression. Especially since 86% of the 69% of high school grads that enroll in college are commuter students, why wouldn’t long lines at 3 universities be enough to prove widespread suppression of the youth vote? But wait, there’s more, even the vice (not exactly known for their journalistic integrity) piece you posted says, way down at the bottom that turnout is the bigger issue. I guess it wasn’t just gulo that missed the piece you posted - you missed the piece you posted too, again.

If all these facts are too much for you to grasp, let me put it this way....

You must've missed my earlier post about... der der duuurrr der der der derrrr...

No.

The irony is, the Democratic primaries are run, obviously, by the state Democratic parties.

So if any voter suppression occurred, it would have been by Democrats against other Democrats.

Why would I be surprised if this is true?

It?s documented fact that the DNC cheated Sanders against last time.

shhhhhhh! that doesn't fit the narrative that the GOP is the most corrupt party in America's history...

...and it's not even close.

And they're racist, homophobic and now apparently they also hate young people, or at least young socialist college students in Austin, Ann Arbor and East Lansing.

Edit: let me just add something about the voter suppression nonsense - remember, these people are the same folks that occupied Zuccotti Park during Occupy Wall St, who complained that they couldn't confront the Wall St bankers on their way too and from work because the bankers got to work too early and stayed at work too late. Yeah, it's probably voter suppression, that has to be it.

Bernie Sanders, who is not so great at winning the DNC nom for POTUS suspended all Facebook ads and some other campaign activities after another disappointing week at the polls - just like Mayor Pete and Bloomberg did before announcing the end of their campaigns.

What's the over/under on Bernie throwing in the towel? days? a week? a month?

sounds like your boy is having his aides cut a deal with the Biden campaign before he bows out of the race - a little quid pro quo if you will, like he did with Hillary when he sold out last time.

I wonder if he's going to get Biden's campaign to commit to paying for his private jets so he can fly around endorsing him like he did when he sold out to Hillary - because he's an "every man" who can't be bought (unless it's with private jets and luxury accommodations at Cochella and elsewhere), and he's not at all corrupt or a hypocrite (even though he clearly is).

I don't think so.

But whatever. He is still so great. Our shit country doesn't deserve him as president... Biden or Trump are the presidents we deserve. Rot in hell, loser.

this is pretty funny!

Happy Friday!

I am usually sitting with my wife at our favorite local bar for happy hour right about now...not today. :argh:

I haven't gone to a bar or restaurant in a couple weeks.

For a while I was craving a pub-style cheeseburger and fries... but I'm over it.

I just stocked up on groceries... and grabbed a couple cases of beer. I don't want to have to go back there for a while.
