This team has the look of that 2010 team that brought back almost all of a final four team, had a preseason #2 ranking amd ended up barely making the tourney with a 19-15 record.

That's the 2010-2011 team you're talking about. I think we look more like the 2009-2010 team that came off the finals appearance the year before and was ranked really high to start the season. That team had some ups and downs and only got a 5 seed in the NCAAs but still did manage to get a Big Ten co-title and make the final 4 (thanks to a heavily favored Kansas team getting knocked off). They also made the Final Four in a year when nobody was all that good (the Duke-Butler final), which is similar to this year.

Similarly, I still think this team has Final 4 potential, but there will be some bumps along the way.

Also, didn't see the game but saw Georgia was 12-31 from 3, which is a pretty good clip at the farther distance. So either the perimeter defense needs work or 4 major college opponents in a row have had the luckiest day they'll have all season.

Edwards hit some insane off balance fade away 3s. That kid is a top 3 pick. But I dont feel we guarded well at all from 3.

maybe dook is not any good, we'll find out soon enough. It does bug me a little that Louisville has already bounced back from Pitino scandal - unfortunately they don't play a ranked team for another 2 weeks. would be nice to see the Wolverine's knock them off.
