Another win in the books!!

DO i want to even look at the game thread or is it more crying about another win??!??

Didn't watch the first half

Did Hill, Paye, Collins, or McKeon play?

We all know that the best QB on the team, McCaffrey didn't play, but was suited up...

Michigan dominated for about two and a half quarters and was awful for about a quarter and a half.

Yep! The D went to sleep and then stepped back up when they needed to

I tried to tell people not to infer anything at all from this game

There is no transitive property of college football

Beating Illinois means nothing! I said this.

When will people stop looking for a sign on a week to week basis that will show them the future of what will happen in future games? College football doesn't work like that. Look at the pickems. If we could infer signs from games, then we'd get every pick right.

Georgia just lost at home to South Carolina

Fire 'em!!!

Ugh. So exhausting. This whole bit is old.

Yep! Your whole bit is old

Maybe Michigan will go 8-4 and not win the conference championship. Maybe you'll need a psychologist, because you expected better.

deal with it

Nah, you have just been doing this since the ESPN boards. We have to be appreciative of every win and not point out out the flaws of the program/team.

You did the same shit when RR's team eeked out a 55-53 win or whatever the F it was when we were like 2-10. And we just needed to shut up and smile.

I honestly hope they shut me up and go beat Penn State. But, they have shown zero evidence that they can compete with anyone good, especially on the road.

It's a message board. Not everyone does the same schtick you do that we all have to smile and say "GO BLUE!"

Nope! I know everything is not OK, but I'm ok with that.

I don't need to find a safe place.

Things are a helluva lot better than they were during RR's days.

I knew things were screwed up then. I just didn't see the point of pointing it out with 1,000 posts. They needed to fire RR when they did and it happened.

are you suggesting they needing to fire Harbaugh? Today?

Ah yes. Going back to that well. Remembering how pathetic things were and acting as though Harbaugh returned us from the ashes to prominence.

Just an FYI. Any decent coach with the resources at Michigan can do what Harbaugh can do. Beat the weak to average teams and lose to the good teams.

Yep! When Lloyd was coaching, SOME fans would say, "Any coach can do better. Any coach can win 8 or 9 games a year at Michigan!" They were wrong, weren't they?

As long as some certain posters come to my defense and post that they agree with me and my posts, like they did about my posts about the Iowa game, then I'll continue. If I was alone with my views, then I might question them..

You didn't answer my questions. That is because you are weak of mind. Look! I get it. You don't like me. I'm fine with that. You disagree with me. I'm fine with that.

Do you want Harbaugh fired right now? Today?

Why do people assume that D McCaffrey or Milton are better? I'm quite certain that they are not. SHea is the best QB on the team and that is why he is playing. Prove me wrong!

SHea is not the reason that Illinois scored 25 points.

Michigan could've very easily won that game by 24 points, but they chose to down the football.

The 3rd quarter was iffy. Otherwise Michigan dominated.

Ask your questions. I'll answer whatever you want. But since this is a long, rambling post, I'll try and see what I can do.

Do I want him fired today? No. But if he loses to OSU and PSU, at the end of the season, yes. He needs to go.

Why do people assume McCaffrey or Milton are better? Because I cannot imagine that guys as highly recruited as them can be as bad as the dude that keeps trotting out there every game.

"They chose to down the football." HAHA. You didn't watch the game. They didn't win by 24 because they fucking looked like shit on offense and couldn't stop Illinois. You cannot honestly have your head buried in the sand this bad to believe THAT IS why they didn't win by more.

They did choose to down the football.

If they hadn?t, Michigan probably would?ve covered.

Michigan dominated throughout most of the first half and ran up a 28-0 lead.

Then they self imploded and gave up 25 unanswered points.

Then Michigan recovered and scored 14 unanswered points.

They were deep in Illini territory threatening to score late in the game, but chose to go into victory formation when victory was sealed.

I?m a little pissed that. I had Michigan covering the spread, and for a guy who would go for two against P Carol at USC when he had the game safely in hand, just because he ?couldn?t go for three,? I got to say that that?s a little wimpy on Harbaugh?s part.

This is a point.

I was the only one to win that game today. I didn?t pick South Carolina to win, just to cover.
There were a couple of other games where I was one of only two or three that picked right.

But guess what?

There were just about as many games where I was the only one, or the only one of two or three, to pick wrong!

It happens every week!

It?s a good season also, everybody is unbelievably bunched up.

And everyone is picking more winners than losers.

He was probably afraid his team would fumble again.

My friend, this was a 3 point football game with 12 minutes left.

From the first quarter, this game should have never, ever been in doubt, and Michigan should have won comfortably by 30+ points.

Instead, it was a total nailbiter, Michigan forgot how to play, and started doing the fumbling shit again.

Talking about downing the ball at the end as though it was the reason they didn't win by more is simply just an excuse for this team.

At the end of the day, Michigan's a very average club. And that's incredibly disappointing.

Michigan was inside the 10 yard line and could've very easily scored again in the 90 seconds that were remaining just by running the football. They should have. There aren't any points to being a good sport. IF Michigan runs in the football there at the end, the game is a 24 point victory. I don't see how anyone can dispute this.
