That is really really dumb, especially with 100% negative comments. Who are you a fan of? The Packers?
I don't have a favorite NFL team. I gamble and play fantasy football.

Stop it with the QB selection for their pick in upcoming draft. That would literally be a Lionesque pick.
There are no QBs coming out this year who are generational talents like last year. Roll with Goff in 2022 and hopefully better QBs are available in 2023. If that means they go back to back 0-17, so be it. You do not want to draft the wrong QB out of some desperation motivation... get the rest of the teams deficiencies addressed, including WR, in Draft and FA this year.
This is a long term rebuild, not a quick fix. Stop expecting this team to win. That is a YOU problem only. If YOU stop expecting wins and think about the entirety of the Big Picture, you do not push for a QB this year. Not a single QB coming out is worth the #1 pick.
I change my mind. Gotta go qb. Goff is so bad.
We had the same record as Arizona for like half a decade. They took several steps forward we keep fucking up every possible decision as an organization. Bringing goff here was holmes first major fuck up.... the sooner he fixes it the better. Wrs have nothing to do with all the wide open targets he has down field that he's missing.
You are being short sighted.
"Bringing Goff" was a solid move. Get a prior round 1 QB who has previously taken teams to SBs, get 2 1st round picks and provide the prior QB, Stafford, the door to go where he wanted to go. Stafford chose to leave, and chose the Rams because of their coach. You keep trying to pin that on Holmes, but that was 100% what Stafford wanted and they got as good a deal for him as they possibly could get.
Goff is fine for 2021 and 2022. No one...absolutely no one... thinks the Lions will do anything this year, yet you continue to bitch about a team many have said if they win 1 game it would be a shocker and yet they nearly won 2 already.
But the most important thing you are missing is how word is getting around the entire league that this staff is one that players should covet playing for, which is huge compared to prior staff which had opposite impression and lead to this epic failure this year.
Stafford would?ve made a difference this year, but the team would still be bad overall. They probably end up slightly below .500 picking 10ish. Not to mention he probably isn?t too happy with not being traded, don?t think he?d hold out but that?s always a possibility these days. One year left on his deal after 2021, they probably get little in return (or they keep him and get nothing).
I understand that it?s painful to watch this team as is, but there wasn?t really a way around this. Patricia and Quinn decimated this team from top to bottom. They took a gamble on Goff in exchange for an extra pick, it?s clearly not working out and fortunately they aren?t married to him after this season.
I really don?t know what people were expecting this year, Campbell and his staff would be magicians?
Not to be 0-6, I was not expecting that. After the Red Wings opening day heartbreaker people were saying "we'll get a better pick." It's okay to get better during a rebuild. The Patty and Quinn remark reminds of blaming Millen for 10 years. Do we need to wait 10 more years? Tigers improved from last year, with Avila - why can't the Lions do it. As long as the coach cries everything will be okay.Stafford would?ve made a difference this year, but the team would still be bad overall. They probably end up slightly below .500 picking 10ish. We?re not even halfway into year 1. If this team is terrible in 2023 then I think it?s time to hit the panic button. We?re 6 games in and people already want to fire the coaching staff and GM, already calling the draft picks busts, it?s a bit ridiculous.
If anyone is worried about this being the same old Lions and there?s no hope for the future, then why bother watching? I had zero expectations this year and this season is going exactly how I thought it might.
Bingo. When you get into your 50's you might think differently. Nice avatar btw.
Start the 2022 season w a bang. Acquire Michael Thomas for Trey Flowers. Draft Thibodeaux w the #1, address defense with the Rams pick and our 2nd rounder. After that we just might start looking like a football team.
not sure any team would trade for Flowers. The Lions are probably better off just cutting him this off season and taking the $12M dead cap hit.
As far as trading for Thomas...that doesn't make sense either. He's an aging player on a bloated contract.
They need to continue to blow the team up. I would think that one of their RBs would have some value right now. Trade Decker in the off season. I don't think they have any other players that would fetch much in return.
