There are no QBs coming out this year who are generational talents like last year. Roll with Goff in 2022 and hopefully better QBs are available in 2023. If that means they go back to back 0-17, so be it. You do not want to draft the wrong QB out of some desperation motivation... get the rest of the teams deficiencies addressed, including WR, in Draft and FA this year.

This is a long term rebuild, not a quick fix. Stop expecting this team to win. That is a YOU problem only. If YOU stop expecting wins and think about the entirety of the Big Picture, you do not push for a QB this year. Not a single QB coming out is worth the #1 pick.

Goff has missed more wide open receivers that he was targeting than any QB i have ever watched. I'm not counting the wide open receivers that he doesn't throw to but receivers he overthrown.

With that being said, I agree with Zyxt. No QB looks like they are worth the #1 overall pick. Give me Thibodeux with the 1st pick and David Bell with our 2nd first round pick. No chance to move on from Goff in 2022. 2023 is the first real chance to move on from Goff.

Stafford chose to leave, and chose the Rams because of their coach. You keep trying to pin that on Holmes, but that was 100% what Stafford wanted and they got as good a deal for him as they possibly could get.

Don?t fall into the sunk cost trap, this franchise isn?t worth your time, probably isn?t worth anyone?s time.

The Lions have sucked my entire life, it?s easy to just expect it every Sunday, every season. I?m not as invested as I used to be because of it and I think I?ve reached a good point of following but not caring too much. My Lions heart can never be broken, because it?s already dead.

I?d absolutely support trading away Swift if the return is good. Few RBs are worth it beyond their rookie deal, just the nature of the sport these days. Lions won?t be in a position to contend by the time his contract is up (last year is 2023), they?d be wise to move him before then.

Malik Willis is light years better than Jared Goff. He wouldnt be taking those goofy sacks where Goff cant even spin out of the way without tripping over himself.

Corral and Ridder will be top 15 picks as well.

Id argue nothing will help a 0-17 team more than a good qb. Atleast one that doesnt throw the ball away on 4th down lol.

I'm still not convinced that the Lions wouldn't be better off accepting the Carolina offer. Hell, they didn't even listen to other offers. It was reported that the 49ers wanted Matt too. They gave up #12 and 2 future firsts for #3. It's not hard to imagine that they wouldn't have given up #12, a future #1 and Jimmy G for Matt.
