Mock Draft Thread

Ereck Flowers. Any chance they want/could draft him?

Sure, he's considered a first rounder, though and could easily go before Detroit picks. Same is true of DT Malcolm Brown.

Personally, I think if we can land Ekpre-Olomu in the third that would be the best pick of the draft. He was widely considered the best CB in the last two drafts but got hurt this year. If we can find a veteran to play CB #2 this year as a stopgap, it could give the team the time to let E-O get healthy and acclimated to the team/system.

This draft is supposed to be a very deep RB class yet the Lions first look at a guy that is coming off of an ACL tear. SMH

The amazing part is, and you can just about book this, he won't even be there when the Lions pick at #23.

There are a number of teams in the top 20 that could take the guy, but I think he goes #16 to Houston.

Don't tease me with a good time. ...hope to hell hes gone. Im all for getting an offensive weapon in rd1. But id take gordon or dgb before gurley. Personally id be taking ol or dl...but we dont draft need.

I agree. 1st round has to be DL/OL. 2nd round is another story. As long as we don't go TE, I really don't care what the pick is. That first round pick should always be a starter or a future starter for a current vet who is about to be gone on a championship caliber team. This is at the core of why I completely disagree with BPA in the first round. It has to be bpa among the needs of your team.

Comp picks haven't been handed out yet:

In all, the Lions have six total picks in the 2015 NFL Draft right now: three in the first three rounds, none in the fourth and fifth rounds and three in the final two rounds. It's possible that the Lions could get an extra pick or two when compensatory selections are handed out later this month, but that isn't projected to happen.
