Msu @ osu

This is looking a little too similar to how the game in Ann Arbor went down. Play reasonably good most of the first half then let the other team get momentum before halftime. Hopefully a second half collapse isn't coming.

Harris being anemic and Appling not being an offensive threat is going to be a quick exit in the tourney. So, either Payne goes off or we lose.

Not a bad half considering Harris just watched a whole half of basketball from the court and Denzel picked up that 2nd foul as soon as he came back in the game. Probably only played 8 minutes that half. Need to shore up the defensive glass. OSU rebounded almost half of their misses.

Byrd almost negated his defensive gaffes with that shot

Need dawson and Valentine back, I think we'll tighten it up defensively in the second half

I think the fact that they shot well masked a few things in that half. OSU is getting better opportunities though. If they don't tighten up the defense, they'll lose.

I think we are really close to being able to go all out with the fast break. Starting to see them push faster after giving up a basket. Finally starting to look a little more like the MSU basketball we've seen from Izzo. If we make a run this year it will be by running all game.

Valentine and Dawson both sat the rest of the half after picking up their 2nd fouls. Which was a great call from Izzo IMO. I'd rather have those 2 play without the worry of foul trouble in the 2nd half rather than playing them in the 1st and risking getting that 3rd. We should be better defensively and rebounding in the 2nd half.
