MSU vs Louisville

As bad as we played that half and we're only down 3. Kinda tells you how good we really are.

With 7 minutes in the 2nd other teams are gassed. If we playbsound fundamental basketball we are going to win. Too much depth unless were just off

God frbes is a bonus. Or as michamp says "greasy". I hate racist whites especially when they are flag burners.

We have more offensive boards than Louisville has defensive boards. Davis and Goins have been HUGE

Solid win given the awful start and Louisville is a pretty good team. Forbes could not miss and Goins was a monster on the boards

4 games in 7 days, team looked dead tired at the start, but figured out a way to win.

Valentine clutch at the line. Forbes shooting well. And Kenny Goins with 13 rebounds off the bench. 8-0, team needs a rest.

Down the stretch we really have to establish Davis from the start. He has the best hands and footwork ive seen since Randolph. That will open up the perimeter for us where we are really strong. I was never a Schilling fan but Sbee brought up some good points on SChilling and im a believer also. We need his presence. I am loving "greasy" forbes. That guy is lights out and a cock sure attitude to match. GO GREEN!!

I was at the game so I didn't hear the commentary but it looked like Louisville would switch from man to zone almost each possession, sometimes within the same possession, like the old amoeba defense. I think zone teams will present problems for a lot of offenses with a 30 second shot clock, it takes a while to find a good shot vs a zone, UL showed some pressure then played zone, that really shrinks the clock imo.

Also, during time outs they showed the michigan punt and osu fg to get the crowd going. I'd like to see them do that all year

Ok ... I was at a bar playing a live trivia game and MSU-L'Ville was on. The Spartans have all the ingredients that I value in a basketball team: Poise, mental toughness and resiliency.
