MSU vs Louisville

Louisville was better than I thought. They lost a lot from last year but those transfers can score and the frontcourt has good size. Good win all things considered.

It's something when somone who might be our 13th guy can come in and get 13 rebounds.

The bench will get shorter when the Big Ten season arrives, but the minutes all these guys are getting will pay off down the road when we get into foul trouble or have an injury. When Schilling comes back Izzo will have 14 guys he is comfortable giving minutes to, I've never seen that before here.

That Lee for Louisville was insane, unstoppable.

Ok ... I was at a bar playing a live trivia game and MSU-L'Ville was on. The Spartans have all the ingredients that I value in a basketball team: Poise, mental toughness and resiliency.

It would have been pretty convenient if that was one of the trivia questions. They have a bit of physical toughness too. So far, they appear to be a very well rounded team and are performing above my expectations.

Purdue and Maryland look good as well but I hope michigan and indiana turn it around - the season, particularly conference play is more fun when those teams are competitive.
