MSU vs. OSU

yeah, the 3 blocks is a good stat but 9 boards for a guy his size is OK, he should get at least 6 boards in his sleep - when coupled with 6 points in 29 minutes plus a handful of mistakes and pockets of lazy play, I wouldn't say he played well.

I still disagree on this one, he had 6 points on 4 shots, not terrible but he wasn't assertive on offense. Nigel Hayes torched us in Madison for 25 points on 14 shots, 2-3 from 3. The big question going into the Wisconsin game in EL was the matchup at the 4, we've struggled to guard quicker stretch 4's with Schilling and DD, this was the first game after Goins got hurt and DD needed to step up. Hayes was actually tweeted saying his 25 against us wasn't a big deal because he had DD guarding him and it wasn't much of a challenge. DD stepped up big time in 29 minutes, most of them on Hayes, holding him to 1-13 from the floor. Some of that was Hayes having an off night and maybe some guards cheating to help DD but Izzo did single him out for playing well defensively vs Wisconsin

I think that was a good performance but it doesn't stand out in the box score
