NBA Playoff Schedule

How do the spurs not foul down 4 with a 4 second differential with shot/game clock with 20 seconds left? Complete bonehead decision by Popovich

You beat me to it ! First time we saw Pop choke.

Did you guys watch the game? Pop was screaming and motioning for LMA to foul. Hell, I thought Pop was going to go foul the guy himself. That's on the player, not the coach.

For a good 14 seconds Pop tries to get his guy to foul, with about 10 seconds left says "Fuck it."

It?s more on the players, you?re right, you?ve got to have a higher basketball IQ and know the situation. But, I thought Pop and staff didn?t do the greatest job in communicating it either to the players. They didn?t make the greatest attempt at motioning to the players to foul. I would have been screaming at the top of my lungs and doing jumping jacks to notify the players.

Yeah I guess he did for a few seconds and then sort of gave up on it. Shouldn?t that have been discussed in the last huddle? Yeah players are mostly to blame for being brain dead but a little blame falls on Pop to.

I think you are right. Pop was motioning but it wasn’t like he was screaming and jumping up and down like we have seen in other situations like this. He sort of gave up on it. That is what it looked like to me. But players have to be smarter . Down 4 with 27 seconds left , and 2 something seconds difference in shot clock is a no brainer to foul right away.

All on the players. Look at the coach and more important these players know the situation right? Who wouldn't foul in a 2 possession game and let them dribble 24 seconds and the game ends. Did they expect to get a full length 4 point shot with a second left? Stupid players.

Boston crushes Milwaukee 112-90. Leads series 1-0. They now have home court..

76ers even series up 1-1. Beating Toronto in Toronto 94-89 in game two.

Denver wins game one in the series 121-113 at home. Lead series 1-0.

Warriors take game two 115-109, and lead series 2-0 heading back to Houston. Harden was poked in the eye but I missed it.

Blazers even up series 1-1 winning games two 97-90, and taking home court back to Portland in the process.

I still see no one winning besides GS.

I wish the Pistons had been as smart as the Warriors back after winning in 2004, and almost in 2005. We had plenty of chances to be a dynasty but Joe just kept making small mistakes that we never coulld recover from. The a pistons could have had many titles with just a few tweaks in the historically timeline. Maybe the warriors were just lucky but they sure did draft well.

The Pistons were no where near being any kind of dynasty. They were a good team that was probably lucky to win one championship. They didn't have any special players on the team.

Now, if they had gotten lucky enough to draft Lebron James...then they may have become a dynasty.

This is not true at all, and I disagree with you. If Joe drafts different the Pistons win way more the one title. Anyway pistons were a lot closer a dynasty then one thinks, and they Had the third best regular season record in 2003-04, and crushed the Lakers. Plus next season it was the Spurs who were lucky to beat the Pistons. Sadly those Flip Saunders (rip) teams who made 3 consecutive Ec Finals could never get over the hump including the 64-18 team.

2002–03 lost in the EC Finals. (Drafted Darko).
Instead of Wade, Anothny, or Bosh. Heck even Kaman or David West is better then
Darko.
2003-04 won Nba title...
2004-05 Lost in Finals.
2005-06 Lost in EC Finals.
2006-07 Lost in EC Finals.
2007-08 Lost in EC Finals.
2008-09 Lost in First Round.
