NCAA Tourney Games Thread

great idea. we have over 72 hours until our next game. let's radically change our offense and see how it goes.

So those two can't be on the court together for a few minutes? You can't run out a lineup with Simpson, MAAR, Matthews, Wagner, and Teske on occasion?

I didn't know it was that far fetched.

Its not and they may have to, if A&M throws out their big men(like they did against UNC) and we are missing our shots. Hopefully our passing negates what problems this can create. Those guys were jumping to the moon yesterday. Very good rebounders.

I didn't think so. No idea why that was so radical. That was one of the things I said out loud to the others watching with me, was why is Teske getting pulled after doing all this good stuff?

They trip over each when they're on the court at the same time.

It's weird.

Jb and Tom Izzo were both on the Huge radio show at different times today and I have to say they were both great interviews. Both were very complimentary of each otherside program. Give Tom a lot of credit for coming on after a tough loss.

I would be OK with Duncan starting over Livers.

My biggest gripe, especially against Houston, was the removal of Teske. The dude literally provided great play every second he was on the court. Is it possible to have a 2 big lineup with him and Wagner?

A&M's bigs are going to have Duncan fouling out if he sees substantial playing time. Teske needs to have a huge game defensively.

Texas A&M is apparently another great defensive team... since we're not great offensively, that goes against our strengths. We can stifle them on defense, but they'll do the same to us.

on the other hand... we've just been shooting below our averages. those should average out in our favor at some point. i hope.

A&M's weakness this season has been turnovers more so than shooting. My hope is that while it appears to be strength vs weakness for both teams, our 3 point shooting makes it irrelevant and their turnovers lead to easy buckets.

It's their business, but Spartan fans wanting to dump Izzo just sounds like crazy ass shit to me.

Oh some Ohio state news . #3 seed women's team was crushed by the #11 seed Central Michigan 95-78. After trailing 15-7 after one they out scored osu 25-6 in the second to take a 34-21 halftime lead. Out scored them 61-57 in the next two quarters for the crushing win. Go Chips !!!!

Also #11 seed Buffalo crushed #3 seed fsu 86-65.. wow.

Get rid of Izzo? No.

Should he make some serious philosophical changes? Yeah. His style doesn't cut it anymore. He can't find someone, and mold them for 4 years. If he wants to do that, stop recruiting 4-5 stars. You cannot play Ben Carter for 25 minutes and Jaren Jackson for 15 in the biggest game of the year. That's lunacy.

Congrats to buffalo and cmu women's teams on making the sweet 16. Sue Guevara cmu was a past Michigan coach from 1996 to 2003 and she had a 123-82 record and made the ncaa in 3 years and the wnit in 2 years . Dang she must have had some issues back then. I wonder if she has mellowed in recent years at cmu?

Coaching basketball is a good gig. Her Wikipedia page says Sue makes
234,000 a year at cmu!! She has been sued a few times it looks like and still is coaching . I guess she won . Where is ML WHEN I NEED HER?
I bet she knows the scoop on what happened at Michigan?

Kim makes 360,000 a year at Michigan.

Kentucky or ksu are going to kill Nevada or Ill-chi in my opinion . For sure Kentucky will.

Loyola's fighting like hell to stay alive. Only up by 1 with 1 minute left.

FSU beating up the Zags and the Zags big man isnt playing. He has a supposed bruise. Are you kidding?

Would be great if FSU can win, but Gonzaga just doesn't go away. They will be a tough out :/
