NFC Playoff Thread

We lose hopefully the Lions start rebuilding the coaching staff Friday morning

I don't like mid-season changes. Regardless what happens I see the same coaching staff next year. Ford is dumb as a brick, and it starts with Mayhew. I doubt he fires Gym Shorts.

All depends if Mayhew thinks
1) turnover problem is on the coaching staff or not
2) there is someone better out there that won't require a huge personnel turnover (cap room won't allow that)

Fluke turnovers that are caused by I'll advised throws by Stafford. Guy needs to put some touch on his passes, maybe then it wouldn't clank off of his receivers hands

We don't have injuries now. I didn't blame the Bucs loss on injuries. Fluke turnovers.

Yeah, fluke. Like the one in the end zone where only one person was close to it, the TB corner. Fluke. Or the pick 6 where it was being the TE and only one person had a chance to catch it, their guy.

Even Durham wasn't a fluke, just a guy being dumb. Fluke or not we got outscored.

Matt missing wide open receiver for td's.... Frustrating he is regressing..

Sometimes you fire a coach because your team sucks. And the fact a rookie QB can have a perfect rating when there is no pressure.

We should beat GB, they don't have Rodgers. But if we lose it will because we had injuries. Same ole bullshit.

The argument has shifted to fluke turnovers now that the Lions are mostly injury-free.

Durham fumble is fluke how that ball stayed in bounds. And the Calvin pick was a big fluke.

And Tampa fumbled once but luckily for Tampa they recovered.

And Fairley personal foul was bullshit.

The CJ pick was a great hit and the ball just happened to pop up into the air vs. dropping to the ground...shit happens.

Banks got awarded for shitty coverage and so did the Bucs D after giving up a big first down to Durham. It is definitely a fluke play. Stafford made a great play on 3rd down to set up a game winning TD.

It's so frustrating how this team can do so well moving the ball and still lose. One big chance to turn it around and take control on Thursday.

They didn't score because of the personal foul..Can't you take ownership for once? Its always unlucky, and flukes, and injuries and rain. Do the Lions ever lose because they suck, IYO?

The personal foul extended a 3 and out stop by the defense. It's a great job by the defense.

Yes in the Millen era and 2009 and parts of 2010 they lost becuase they suck.

Lately they are incredibly talented but kill themselves or have concentrated injuries.

We'll see how they rebound. 2011 they did going 3-0 to clinch in Week 16, will they in 2013. Division wins will decide it and Thursday is a big one.

Ever thought that we just have some shitty players? Rebound, did they rebound after Pittsburgh? Eventually you have to rebound, can't lose them all or can we.

that what happens when you draft solid players like mark barron and you play them. We draft mark barron and he sits on the bench for 2 years then fades away into obscurity.

They rebounded after Arizona and Cincy. 2 in a row wins each after those losses. Will they rebound after 2 losses in a row like they did in 2011 (7-3 to 7-5 then won 3 in a row). We shall see.

2011? Stafford isn't even close to playing like 2011. And that was another non playoff win season.

You acted like they've never rebounded. I gave you three examples (two this season). You lose the argument.
