The league found that the Dolphins did not tamper. Not sure how they came to that conclusion, but that's the final finding.

So as stated previously, it didn't matter if Mayhew filed charges or not. The league conducted its own investigation, and the results would be based on that, not on what Mayhew did or didn't do.

And in this case they just couldn't find evidence that the numbers were exchange prior to the three day negotiating window, or that there was an exchange of numbers that violated the terms of that window.

Investigation happened regardless.

Lmfao

No evidence? The nfl didn't care about no evidence with brady.

Lol. They basically said what his contract was to be days before and guess what, he signed exactly that.

Pathetic. Can we challenge the ruling? I don't see a reason NOT to, honestly. Seems like the Patriots ordeal wore them out so they just brushed this under the rug. Make these fuckers work and give an actual explanation why the exact deal was announced before actual negotiating was legal. Fuck it, nothing to lose, imo

And this is why Mayhew never proceeded with it. He was told months ago. Now everybody can shut their fucking yaps about it.

Jets got fined 100k for revis. Lions would just get money not draft picks. Gunther running his trap costs us a pick though and 49ers with Briggs

No case? I didn't expect anything, 25k fine but no case? They talk about his contract days before and he gets the exact contract. The guy who leaked was some good guesser.

If they didn't bust the Washington Racial Slurs over Haynesworth, when the exact numbers, years, and perks were all leaked before there was even a tampering period, they aren't going to bust the 'Phins over Suh when it took two more days after free agency opened up to actually work out the minutia and sign him.

I think that was all for show, but it still got them off the hook.

I agree and if they did find them guilty it might have been 25k. But it was tampering..proof is that everyone knew days ahead of time when the offer for suh was.

Blame the NFL then. Don't blame Mayhew like your helmet wearing leader is doing.

Indy pushed the envelope....boom 4 game suspension and 1st rd draft pick gone on no evidence what so ever.

All the evidence in the world. ...mayhew does shit. We get shit.

The nfl is completely predictable. ...they only care about protecting the shield and the bigger deal you make of something. ...the more you get rewarded/punished. Mayhew blew it....
