I'd rather be the Patriots with 4 Super Bowls telling everyone 'deflator' means weight loss than Mr. Nice Guy, but that's just me.
Depends. If the Pats stink it up this year with proper balls, then you can't really respect them.

No, they are a team that can't afford to do that. In his time as a GM, Mayhew has been the most active trading GM in the league. You don't burn bridges with the people you need to work with (even if you also work against them) for some public display of "hissy-ness".
The NFL opened the investigation. Mayhew kept his mouth shut and maintained a professional working relationship with his peers.
I'd be very disappointed in him if he had done any differently.

Yeah and if there is one thing we have as Detroit Lions its respect. Wouldn't want to lose that.
11-5 should be respected.
I guess I'm not sure how arguing with Goodell effect's Mayhew's trades? Or do you mean the Miami GM won't want to trade with us? Honestly, I'm not sure that will effect trades much..
The Packers won the division.

Because you don't shit where you eat.
In any business, you have competition, and sometimes you have to rely on that competition for advice, services, etc...
Bank of America and Chase Bank are competitors. But their CEOs have lunch on a regular basis to exchange ideas. That's how ANY business runs. You compete, but you work together and share as well.
In the NFL, or any sport, where you directly compete, and you directly work with one another , it's even more critical to not be "that guy".
Mayhew did right.
ITT: Salty bitches and sour grapes.
Not really. That block in the back on the punt return should have been called. Packers Oline was holding like crazy too.
What's ITT mean?
