I think that what the Tigers need to do is start going after these cast aways. The can't miss players that need a change of scenery. We don't seem to go after those guys. Carlos Gonzalez, Carlos Quinten, Colby Rasmus. We load up our bench with Santiago, Rayburn and Jason Werth's. Zero upside

Jhonny Peralta comes to mind. They got him from Cleveland for nothing and he was on the all star team. And lately, Delmon Young qualifies.

Not exactly the same. Those are $5 million dollar players that we got as a salary dump. I mean highly touted prospects that teams give up on.

Oh and I would think the Reds would 100% pick up his option as well..
