OMFG I am going COMPLETELY CRAZY for March MADNESS

Texas Tech is so long . Love they way they are constructed. I hope they beat Virginia. Auburn deserves to be there instead of them.

Fuck Auburn, theyd have to vacate anyway. Chuck Person put a cloud over that program. And im sure that Bruce Pearl knew nothing of his shenanigans.

First time in shot clock era all four teams scored this low. I didn’t hear the number ?

Well I was impressed with the way Pearl took the loss. He may be a ass on the sidelines, and maybe he is a slimeball but he seems to care about his kids. He never said anything about the bad calls. He said they didn?t make enough plays or something like that.

Texas Tech vs Virginia. Two first time finalists. Last time was 1979 msu vs Indiana st.

And I did not realize the current shit he is in.

Yep, he was the assistant under Pearl during the FBI probe. Person worked the back channels with Adidas and got busted. Pearl hasn't been implicated and maybe wont be in this case. But I'm sure something else will emerge.

State's not going to get a better opportunity to win a title than this Final 4.

Texas Tech is really good, but I thought MSU was the perfect match for them. Almost equal defensively but with more offensive firepower. Not to mention, Culver was absolutely horrible most of the game.

And MSU owns Virginia.

You don't get opportunities like this often.

I'm sure Pearl has found ways to have layers between himself and this shit. Like Coach K and buying Zion's family a house and all the other horse shit Duke gets away with. Plausible deniability is all that matters.

I guess it's good MSU drew Duke, the inferior opponent in their bracket, instead of Texas Tech... otherwise Beilein and Michigan would have another Final Four appearance instead of him!

>:D

That is what it did . It hurt intensely for 5-15 minutes. You get it tapped or retapped and are ready to go back out to hurt it again. Because that is what happens lol.

So if I hurt my ankle, all I have to do is tap on it?

Wish I knew this 3 years ago

Just a Typo. I normally fix them when I see them. Didn’t catch this one oh well It is a shame I can’t be perfect. I do have a lot of them. I could care leas if anyone fixes them. I I see a typo I normally fix them I’d possible. I guess the spell checker didn’t save me last night lol..

maybe not but we'll probably get a pretty good chance next year. Losing Goins is addition by subtraction and Langford adds a lot more on offense than what we lose on defense w/ McQuaid. Assuming ward returns and Tillman can play the 4 we should be favored to win the B1G. If Winston enters the draft that change the outlook dramatically. It's unlikely but he hasn't ruled it out and he wouldn't be the first person to make that mistake.

I don't understand why Goins is suddenly being shit on by some of your fan base. He was one of your better shooters and helped out a ton in the big moments.

To be honest, as a Michigan fan, I love when Ward is on the court. Every time State tried to get him involved in the post last night, the possession completely collapsed. He can't handle double teams, can't shoot past 10 feet, and he's not a good FT shooter. I think you guys are better without him on the court.

Whenever you guys enter the season with massive expectations, MSU always falls short or is massively underwhelming. State does better when they are under the radar.

Every season is so different. You have no idea who will improve, who will get worse, who will get hurt, etc. All I know is that in this Final 4, the championship was staring you in the face. I fully would have expected you to smash Virginia in the finals. Chances like this are rare.

I don't see any super teams out there next year either. Duke will lose all their freshmen and doesn't have that great of a class (for them) coming in next year (and especially it has no Zion in it). UK probably depends on a few draft decisions. I also don't believe next year's freshmen class in general is all that great such that a one and done dominated team is going to have what it takes. Some other teams fortunes that depend heavily on NBA decisions include Tennessee (Bone and Williams), and maybe a few others that I can't think of off the top of my head. Kansas is a team I could also see bouncing back strongly next year.

As such when it comes to experienced talent MSU is probably in as good of shape as anyone next year pending a couple of NBA decisions. Who knows with Ward. He's not NBA material but may leave anyway and we can survive that though the frontcourt depth takes a big hit. And Cassius could I suppose test the waters for feedback, and probably should, but I'd almost certainly expect him back (and if not, then forget anything else expectation-wise). A lot depends on a return to full health of Langford too. But unless some of those things don't happen the right way, the pieces will be there to be on the short list of contenders again (and more depth than this year). But this year's team had uncommon chemistry and grit (and McQuaid and Goins had a lot to do with that), and sometimes that is difficult to re-capture every year.

I think UM if Matthews ends up being the only loss will also pretty solidly be in the Top 10 and what we saw with the rivalry this year will be ratcheted up even more next year.
