Now they may not take those interviews while their teams are still playing but I wouldn't see why not.

I do think the Detroit Lions will hire a general manager who would like to keep Jim Caldwell as head coach and Jim Bob Cooter as offensive coordinator. Ownership likes Caldwell. Matthew Stafford likes Cooter.

McClay came out of nowhere. Hadn't even heard his name attached. I barely remember the guy from his XFL days.

Apparently he's turning down all offers from any team, and did so last year as well. Must be waiting for Jerrah to finally get so senile he needs a GM.
