PFF Review Week 12

we don't use bush anyways....hes wide open in the flat on every single play....staff throws it to the other team instead.

Yeah, but youre on Team "throw the ball deep" tho, remember? You guys would just complain that all Stafford does is dumpoff and make fun of the kid for it.

You guys are a fn trip!! Youre running out of shit to complain about...

Can I be on team "don't suck donkey balls"? Or do I have to sign a waiver?

Waiver signature needed, and that "team" can only be offense or defense, gotta choose 1 side of the ball per game.

Lol.

As I pointed out earlier I was in the camp but I realize why he hadn't thrown deep more - because he can't do it.

Ive never said that...ill be happy if he can just start throwing it accurate. hes proven he cant throw the ball deep so I guess im on team "throw the ball under 6 yards."

He's hanging around a 60% completion average. That's with a horrendous WR corp, most drops in the league and terrible playcalling. Even Calvin has a huge case of the dropsies this year....wtf. Look at two of his picks on Sunday last week. The ball going right off CJs hands and Pettigrew playing peekaboo with a fn football....fn pathetic. Yeah, he misses throws but more times than not, he does the job.

Pass completion has gone down nearly 4% for the year in the last 3 weeks. He just playing more reckless of late, and that needs to change if he wants to make the playoffs this year. Still glad he's our guy. He came into the league seen as the modern day Favre, he's living up to it. The Lions live and die by this kids arm, and I'm okay with that. He just needs to right the ship, and play like he played thru the first 7 weeks

2 of those picks were deflections the one to Burleson and the CJ one. Then you have a misread to a TE and a bomb that he doesn't throw far enough to CJ. I am not sure why we have gone away from hitting Bush in the flat but we need to go back to it. Also we have gotten away from the screen game with Bush. How many times did he break those middle screens early in the year. I am confused but some of Linehans calls and by Staff getting frustrated and forced to force the ball to CJ. Durham stinks, Burleson is old, Droptimus Prime is meh and Fauria seems to never offer himself up as a target unles in the redzone (or stafford just doesnt throw to him). I want to start seeing some freaking W's in this home stretch. Its like this team is allergic to first place. GAHHH I have never hated being a Lions fan so much as I do right now.

Burleson is still a good wr. 3 of those interceptions were not all Stafford. I agree. He still seems off though and is forcing alot of his passes. I don't know, we saw 2 interceptions hit Calvins hands, but those are Staffords fault, because Calvin cannot be blamed for anything on this board.

even when he has all-day it seems he panics, does something stupid with his feet, and throws off balance before he even needed to get rid of the ball. The pick 6 was a perfect example of that. Stop rushing. You hear analysts talking about composure in the pocket...Stafford doesn't have any of that. There was an article midway thru the year that Stafford was leading the league in how fast he gets rid of the ball.....im starting to think that's a bad thing...not a good thing....hes making the wrong read because of it way to often when his oline is actually doing a good job.

Stafford was 26/46. 3 drops and 2 throw aways from pressure. Say 3 of those go away, he's at 63% on the day. All 5. 67% on the day.

Just the Calvin drop/int. We are talking about a Lions win and what a great throw Stafford made in the clutch facing pressure.

Steelers game. Rain first of all. Plenty of QBs % goes down. 19/46 with 5 drops, 3 batted passes and a spike. 29/46. 63%

Did he miss throws yes. But he made alot of plays in both games.

if calvin catches it reggie fumbles on the next play and the lions lose.

the pick 6 highlight says it all. bush wide open....lets throw it to their nickel corner while our superstar TE ducks out of the way.

Reggie is probably partially in the dog house because he kept dropping those passes.

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see much of that the rest of the season.

Reggie Bush touches week by week

Game 1: 25 touches, 191 yards, 55 snaps, 1 TD
Game 2: 12 touches, 69 yards, 24 snaps (injured)
Game 3: out
Game 4: 22 touches, 173 yards, 41 snaps, 1 TD, 1 fumble
Game 5: 17 touches, 69 yards, 41 snaps
Game 6: 22 touches, 135 yards, 52 snaps, 1 TD
Game 7: 23 touches, 94 yards, 57 snaps
Game 8: 29 touches, 122 yards, 66 snaps, 1 TD, 1 fumble lost
Game 9: 17 touches, 113 yards, 39 snaps
Game 10: 14 touches, 54 yards, 42 snaps, 1 fumble lost
Game 11: 19 touches, 100 yards, 43 snaps

According to the Washington Post, he has 8 drops this season

Edit: Added snap counts in there too since PoD has them all, looks like his snaps went down quite a bit after the Dallas game

Not sure why the pick 6 is not Stafford's fault? Pettigrew might be a dumb-ass but that was one bad pass..If Pettigrew no ducky and takes a peek, its still a pick 6. Thanks Stafford for losing this game for us..
