Pistons 95 Jazz 92 Final

Man such great defense and a guy makes a fucking prayer. Frustrating game to watch as a piston fan. Game should be long over..

Good win , whew thought we were gonna blow it again

Me too 2-2 road trip even though really great teams would have punished the 4 teams we played. For a young team I guess we will take it.

Any win on the road is a good win in the NBA , the Jazz arent a lightweight by any means . Now lets build off this win and not lose to the freaking Sixers on Wed

KCP sure looking like a better pick than Burke. I've said it 10 times here but I'm very happy to eat crow on that one.

Why was Detroit suppose to beat them by 15+, which was said a couple times here? It's not like Detroit is a super power, they're barely over .500 playing over a road game? Am I missing something?

I never understood why people liked Burke in the first place, was too small and unathletic to amount to anything in the NBA.

A lot of opinions were Detroit needed a scoring guard. People saw amazing things in his last season, he was hitting some Steph Curry type shots that were unguardable. Player of the Year, local athlete, etc...then nobody knew shit about KCP.

Like I said though, ecstatic to be wrong!

They dominated most of the game then blew the fourth quarter. It is disconcerting that no lead is safe with this team. Hack-a-Drummond is too easy and the team lets off the gas way too quick.

Said a bunch of times ? Where ? I saw Bob say it once and he was referring to us having a big lead , and instead of increasing that lead by 15 plus , we gave it back . He wasnt saying we should beat them by 15 plus , at least thats what i got out of it .

Twice, once - bad math. But he said blowing out by 15+. I take that as meaning we should be beating them by 15+.

That's why I asked if I'm missing something because even though I'm glad they're over .500 they don't look like a team that should win by 15 points.

No harm, no foul.

14 for 30 or thereabouts shooting free throws. I stand by we should have blown them out by 15+.. ok sorry. 10+.!-it's I big problem. Can detroit be elite with its big shooting in the thirty percent at the foul line.. he was 1 for god awful 10 last night I think..

Is that unusual? They seem to have a bad free throw shooting team. In all of sports, basketball is the most streaky. It's common to be up big only to have a nail biter.

the Pistons as a team are dead last in FT% at 64.5%. Last night they shot about 47% which is terrible! Even if they shoot middle of the pack (75%) they score 8 more points and this game isn't close.

IF they make it to the playoffs they won't make it far shooting 64% from the line.

If a team can shoot 64.5% for the year they can shoot 47% for one game. Or do you expect them to be 64.5% each and every game? Sometimes it's higher, sometimes it's lower.

this is true. My main point was how bad they are as a team. If the Pistons were even a middle of the pack FT shooting team they would average about 3 more points a game which would be about 105 points a game. That would be 5th in the league (they are now 14th)

Maybe the coach needs to get them to practice their free throws. I'd be happy if AD was just 10% higher. That's fine for a dominate big man. Just needs 1 more of every 10.

Go to the gym and don't leave until you hit 100 in a row, 10 for AD.

haha...AD would probably be there for a while!

AD needs to add 15% to his FT percentage. 50% should be the worst an NBA player shoots from the line.
