Btw, the Ignite were 6-44 this season. So Holland sure knows about losing so maybe he'll be prepared for it.

Get Started2.5 mill is a small contract to take on for a team with lots of cap room. Hard to get a read on Wendell Moore Jr because he barely played for a good Minnesota team. I think it was a good trade.Pistons swapped 2nd rd picks with Minnesota and took on a contract to move to 37. Not sure why? If they're targeting a player, 6 teams are picking ahead of them lol
the sad thing, he instantly becomes the Pistons best 3 point shooter. A guy Dallas wouldn't even play in the playoffsTraded Grimes for taking on Hardaway Jr's contract and 3 2nd round picks.
Stacking 2nd round picks worked well for the last guy lol
I'm not sure he ever plays for Detroit. They probably just wanted the picks.the sad thing, he instantly becomes the Pistons best 3 point shooter. A guy Dallas wouldn't even play in the playoffs
Yeah, we shouldn't be concerned that the moves they've made are the exact same type of moves the last guys made? What good is cap space if nobody will come play there? They can't win for losing with you guys.. The team had 60+ mill cap and they won a lousy 14 games. Anything is better than nothing.
Players that won't come is the exact reason why you make this trade. Hardaway Jr. will help and can shoot. One year contract so by trade deadline he's propably gone for more picks. We're not signing some young stud or even an old stud. Its a 14 win team located in Detroit.Yeah, we shouldn't be concerned that the moves they've made are the exact same type of moves the last guys made? What good is cap space if nobody will come play there?
#2 guy didn't talk with the top pick team Hawks. Other top ten picks didn't talk with everyone either. Just the way it works sometimes.Just read this in an article. I'm not sure it has been brought up yet.
"After being drafted, Holland stated he had no contact with the Pistons before the draft. He did not have a workout and did not speak to Langdon prior to the selection"
WTF? Is their new GM just as stupid as their last? How do you draft someone in the top 5 without an interview and a workout?
because the Hawks knew they weren't taking the #2 guy. If you think you are going to take a certain player I would think it would be smart to at least meet the person.#2 guy didn't talk with the top pick team Hawks. The 1 and 2 were always up to debate right before the draft. I mean Starr was consensus #1 for a long time. Maybe not interviewing with them changed the Hawks opinion. I wouldn't read too much into that.. I don't believe Detroit interviewed Barry Sanders.because the Hawks knew they weren't taking the #2 guy. they went to his pro day, so I would assume that they met him.The 1 and 2 were always up to debate right before the draft. I mean Starr was consensus #1 for a long time. Happens more often than you think. Maybe not lottery picks so much but it does happen. Look at the lottery picks, 15 players - guarentee every team didn't talk with at least one of them. Our GM was hired a month before the draft. Not long.they went to his pro day, so I would assume that they met him.
How does anybody "hire" someone and not even meet / talk to them first.
