No. It was a 1 score games fairly late. The score didn't reflect the performance, but clownstomping requires both points and a dominant performance.

No, no, you?re been proven to be wrong.

Any Seven point victory over another team can always be viewed as a clown stopping if a) The winning team has taken its foot off the gas, I. E., Played a little less aggressively going forward to avoid costly mistakes and quick scores by the opponent, And b) The only reason it was a seven point win is because the touchdown that cut the lead to seven points happened during garbage time.

A one point victory won on the last play of the game Can always be described as a clown stomping if unrelated facts from the box score can be cherry picked to use as evidence that it was a clown stopping.

I would have agreed with you, except Spartan Mac came on here last week and used facts from the box score Of the Notre Dame game to prove us all wrong.

Despite the stats, it's the scoreboard that ultimately matters, so no clownstomping today

Well your argument is with Spartan Mack, not me. He is the one who spent all of last week proving that the scoreboard is irrelevant when it comes to describing the outcome of the game as being a clown stomping. You have to prove a clown stomping by cherry picking various bits of information from the box score- That?s how a clown stomping is defined.

The final Margin of victory has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Last week one particular Spartan posted at least fifty posts on one thread to justify his description of Michigan?s loss to the Irish ☘️ as a ?clown stomping.?

So this thread is just a little good natured rival sMack talk in return.

I wonder where that particular spartan is now?

I stand corrected... perhaps Spartan Mack would care to join this thread and further explain this apparent clownstomping.

Oh, oh and also you have to use highly subjective and hyperbolic idioms such as “taking their foot off the gas” and “garbage time touchdown” And state them as if They are carved in stone the facts also, To substantiate that the outcome of the game was in fact a clown stomping.

This thread is to razz my buddy spartan Mack For all the smack he was running about Michigan being ?clown stomped? By Notre Dame in a seven point victory.

I think this thread is pretty funny.

I like how MICHIGAN took the foot off the pedal today, so as to make Little Sister look respectable.

I was thinking about that? Rather than any score of those four opportunities that little sister gave us at the end of the first half, our guys Went out of their way to make little sister feel that she was still in the game.

That was very sporting of us, which is consistent with the definition Of a 14 point clown stomping.

Dantonio was a classic prick answering/not answering questions about his teams antics before the game.

Michigan clearly went conservative after the Ben Mason TD. They even knelt with the ball twice when they could've tried to score.

It's also crazy that one of our TD's didn't count because it was a special team's play (kick return), but MSU's TD, from a possession that started on our 7, and still needed a trick play to score, counts.

Yes you have to look for the special little astericts in the box score to explain that.

And you have to look really really hard because they are actually non existent.
