Preseason Game 4: Lions @ Bills Thread

If Caldwell doesn't elevate Kellen Moore to the #2 QB on this roster, it will be an absolute crying shame.

Most likely if we keep two, Moore is gone. Caldwell is not going to let go of his hand picked boy.

Orlovsky has not been able to really move the ball and score. If we really have receivers as good as they say he should have done more with the 2's against the second D.

Moore doesnt have the strongest arm but has shown the ability to move the ball and put points on the board. If We keep Dan and Stafford goes down we are screwed

Like Moore's going to save the day? I like him more than safety man but we lose Stafford we're in trouble more so than actually having Stafford.

Is some team really going to pick up Moore or Dan O and use them on their 53 man roster? Both could be available even if Moore is on the PS.

I think the real question is how much more screwed would we be with one vs. the other?

Unless I'm mistaken, there aren't available, viable backups out there anyway. We're more or less stuck with what we have. I'd rather be stuck with Moore than Dan O.

We're pretty screwed with either.

I agree either way we are screwed. Orlovsky has hit his ceiling. We know what he can do in a game situation and he is not going to put points on the board.

Any idea of the cap consiquences of cutting Dan O?

Everyone is predicting ogletree making the 53 over fuller. Ogletree has done nothing in the preseason even running with the 1's. What are the chances onther team picks up fuller if we try and stash him on the PS.

Show me one team that is "OK" with their backup QB situation. You're fucked regardless.

Yeah, killing it against those grocery baggers sure put him over the top..lmfao. Unreal

And sometimes when you think you are good, you're still screwed. Shaun Hill went 3-7 as a starter for Detroit.

Oh give me a GD break Tony, what exactly has Dan O done in this pre-season to warrant him being a #2 quarterback?

All we are picking from is Dan O and Kellen Moore. If he's not the #2 behind Stafford, the coaches don't know their head from the hole in the wall. I get that Caldwell has a hard on for Orlovski, but he's not 1st backup material.
