As just suggested the other day, once again you make a suggestion here and next thing you know it happens. LOL.. Now hear this one DD. Get someone watching those bad swings and bad approaches footage and get this damn crap offense turned around cuz this shit is getting old really f'en quick!!

Oh and Raburn will be back in July after he gets a chance to work it out with a real HC.

he likely wont be, he hasnt even been cleared to do baseball activities yet.

as for who comes up, i betcha its a pitcher and our bench remains short. we always carry too many pitchers.

Jackson not ready to resume baseball activities
What was once hoped to be a day to day injury for Tigers leadoff man Austin Jackson now appears all but certain to stretch beyond the minimum stay on the disabled list as the Tigers try to get him past his abdominal strain.

While Jackson remains in Detroit rehabbing with physical therapist Steve Scher, he isn't ready for baseball activities and won't do any until the Tigers return home and have their medical staff re-evaluate him Friday. That's also the first day Jackson will be eligible to come off the 15-day disabled list.

Any chance of having him back Friday with little or no work on the field now seems out of consideration.
"It's not going to be as soon as we'd hoped, obviously," manager Jim Leyland said of Jackson's return.

That's a tough break for the Tigers, who could use Jackson's glove and bat in center and leadoff, even if it means shifting hot-hitting Quintin Berry to another outfield spot or the bench. But it also delays the much-speculated roster decision on how to make room for Jackson if Berry's going to stick around.

Those damn abdominal strains/obliques can take forever to heal.

I forgot to add my big fkn woo-hoo.

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooo-hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

:clap::cheers::nod:>:D:p:yay:

another one gone, another one gone another one bites the dust, just a few more to go.

Raburn needed to go, but lets be real for a moment.

Shipping him to Toledo did not make us any better. Worth and Santiago are not producing either, and probably are not even playing as good defensively (cue bob in 3-2-1...).

Hopefully he can get things turned around, but as excited as people are, this is in no way any kind of a fix unless he comes back hitting .290 with monster power.

The Tigers are playing bad with or without Raburn, pretty soon the people who kept claiming he cost us X many games are going to realize how dumb they were.

I don't really think anyone is excited that Raburn is gone. It's more of a "well, it's about time" kind of deal. Well, with me anyways. In no way does this make all the problems go away, but it helps a touch. This team is still dogshit.

50 games in...time to panic.

I never predicted Raburn ho hit this poorly as long as he did, especially after his MONSTER spring training.

But I always felt that at least we had a power threat at the plate when he played, just didn't pan out. He needed to go, and probably needed to go a couple weeks ago.

But Worth and Santiago are deflating at the plate, as least Raburn might have gone blind squirrel and hit one out, everyone but Rod Allen knows Ramon has 0 power, and Worth is, well...Worthless except for his defense...which has been shit since he came up.

Maybe Andy Dirks can play second like Raburn did...

I don't see cause to celebrate the demotion of a player who's been in the league for eight years and was expected to have an entire season like the last three post-ASG half-seasons.
