Rams All In - now the OFFICIAL Super Bowl 56 Thread

If Matt is throwing 17 passes against Tampa Bay they are winning again. Arizona just laid down last night.

Cool.

How will getting rid of him break the curse?

Is it like, a sacrifice to make up for Bobby Lane?

Curses freak me out.

They make me think about Satan and Darth Vader, and all kinds of bad shit.

LMAO!

I just goofing around due to narrative that was suggested when Stafford joined the Lions and the fact he came from same hometown as BL, the notion was that the curse of BL would finally be broken!

Now that Stafford was traded, it seems fitting that this narrative should be expounded upon to where it required Stafford also being traded for the curse to actually be lifted.

With the extra picks from the Rams coupled with how well Campbell coached a shitty team to be competitive, there is hope that the Lions will win a SBwithin 5 years. If they do, then the curse being lifted by Stafford's trade will be "true", even though I do believe the fact a person with the last name Ford no longer being the owner will play an equally important role in the curse ending, arguably even moreso.

Man I hope your right. At 60 I?m running out of time to see the Lions in the super bowl.

Agreed. I disagree Stafford won the game. Seems the running backs and defense lead the way. Stafford does deserve credit for playing well, and he definitely was a positive component, but the game was not put on him to win.

That said, he does now, finally, have a playoff win. Congrats to him. Sucks for Lions fans, but whatever. It is what it is, time to cheer on Tampa.

All in all I thought Stafford played pretty damn good, but was absolutely not the "reason" the Rams won.

1. Defense.
2. Effective Running game.
3. Murray is garbage
4. Stafford

Stafford stats could have been a LOT better but he had 2 different 20+ yard completions called back because of holding calls. 3 drops. And one ball that Akers didn't pick up until it was way to late to make an adjustment. Not a perfect throw, but it's an easy adjustment to make if that ball is picked up like it should have been.

The Rams will need to clean up the holding calls and having to call timeouts because either the play was given to Stafford too late or Staff isn't getting them called in time. Wasted 3 or 4 timeouts because the play clock was low. Can't do that against Tom Brady and the Bucs.

Good "team" win. Similar to when we hammered Arizona.

Murray is overrated.

Better than at New Orleans, at Seattle or at Dallas with extreme ref aid

Stafford deserved the cupcake playoff game..and the home game. And he played well along with entire team..which he also deserves after dealing with lions lack of complete teams

Verlander effect, get out of Detroit then you're allowed to win

Stafford played a very clean game. He made the plays when they were there to make. Didn't need to do anything more then that.

IMO, and I had this picked before wildcard weekend, its a Bills vs Rams SB with the Bills winning. Tampa Bay is too banged up to beat the Rams. Ramsey can take Gronkowski or Evans out the game and Floyd, Donald and Miller are going to make life tough for Brady. On defense, they don't match up well with the Rams. Kupp is going to light them up. I would never count Brady out, but I think the Rams beat the Bucs, mostly because of there defense.

I personally am not high on the Packers. Their O-Line has weaknesses, and I wouldn't be surprised if San Fran wins. They need to focus on taking Adams out of the game and let Rodgers rely on someone else. Their running game is not going to be good enough agianst the 49ers to carry that offense. I don't see the Packers defense holding up to the run game and quick strike passing offense of the 49ers.

I think the Rams beat Rodgers in Green Bay if they get past the 49ers. Really don't think Green Bay shows up for the playoffs and definitely doesn't make the SB. The 49ers are a tough matchup for anyone and that is the team the Rams may have trobule beating.

I don't see anyone winning in GB but I think SF has the best shot of the 3 teams. Good D and run game translates to just about any weather. Bucs and Rams don't run it well enough and if they get below zero temps with high winds teams better be able to run it.

Chiefs vs. Packers SB.

Hoping for Bills vs. Rams

Rooting for the Rams for the rest of the playoffs. Yes, I am aware it means a worse pick for the Lions......but I'd like to see Stafford get a ring. To do that, though.....San Francisco is going to have to beat GB.

I don't see the Rams....even if they do beat TB.....winning in Green Bay. Ramsey vs Adams in the NFC Championship would be really fun to watch, though.

Stafford said it plain as day in the post game....the run game and defense were both amazing. Made his job pretty easy and he didnt **** it up. He actually played really well and his WRs killed a couple drives....sideline miss by Akers and the drop by the TE.

Honestly if their D plays like that the rest of the playoffs thy will be tough to beat.

The opposing QBs wont play as shitty as that mini Kyler Murray did....

I wanted to pick at 24.....but now that they won i agree....not a huge difference between picking 29 or 32. Rather see Matt win it than Rogers, Brady or Mahomes. Mayyybe Josh Allen. So i guess im hoping for a Bills v Rams Super Bowl.

Order of QB I would like to see win it this year

Jimmy G
AR
Burrow
Allen
Tannehill
Mahomes
Stafford/Brady (tie)

i think if Packers lose this weekend theres a good chance Arod leaves. If they win the super bowl i wouldnt want him to be enticed to stay.

An NFC north with no Arod, new CHI HC, new MIN HC automatically makes the Lions better.

We honestly might win the division with 8 wins next year if that happens lmao.

LOL Jimmy G and Rodgers are the most unlikeable QBs left.

Packers fan alert

to you...but everybody isn't the same.

My reason for Jimmy G is because he is pretty much getting kicked out of SF and he has handled it really well/professionally

My reason for AR is because I feel he's the best QB to play the game since Joe Montana and I would like to see him get another ring

Rodgers is not the best. Brady is. And Rodgers is lucky as **** and he will realize it when he leaves. He is an asshole and a thorn in lions side..**** him. Hope he never wins. That stupid smug smirk he gifes. I hope he gets slapped in the ****ing face

Or Stafford beats him

no Tom, you aren't a joke. But, IMO, just not quite as good as AR or Joe

Lol, cmon man. There really is no debate that Tom is the GOAT. There used to be, but after the last couple of seasons there is no logical reasoning that the claim can be made.

Fun fact, Tom Brady has as many Super Bowl victories in Tampa Bay as Aaron has in Green Bay.
