Rams trade #2 pick

The Skins have been idiots for years. Just a stupid good trade for the Rams. Wow, they move back 4 spots in the draft, 4 SPOTS!!!!! And for that they get a 2nd and 2 1sts. WOW!!! If I am a Rams fan I am jumping up and down, one of the most lopsided trades imaginable.

Wow they gave him almost 58 mil. makes me glad we have Staff even though I know we will need to pay him to.

yup...re-up a guy for 3 years and that much cash who has shown he can't win when the games put on his shoulders , and has actually regressed since coming into the league...you cant attract any FA WR worth a damn because your offense is so run heavy and vanilla nobody wants to play for ya.....you court Peyton Manning a lil and when he says no thanks you throw 41 million at Dirty and say well we never really wanted Peyton anyway.

fucking retarded organization.

Amen.

Jets and Washington had to be dumb to think they even had a shot to land him. No way Peyton wants to share new york with his bro and no way he would want to be in the same division. Hence...sanchez and reports of the #2 pick being traded before Peytons plane even lands in Denver.

Redskins have enough cap room to make this trade though.

And RG3 has the potential to be what Vick was suppose to be.

They better go get a WR like Vincent Jackson then. No way they can go in a season with a rookie QB and S. Moss is your #1. They just gave the farm away for picks.

He's one. Colston might be gone. Sign one of them, some Oline.

I'm not saying I'd do the trade, just think they have the money to make it work.

Agreed. The pressure on RG3 will be huge now though..........

Imagine being Andrew Luck lol

Ok..lol. Absolutely, but at least the Colts are completely dismantling that team by letting guys walk. Relieves a little pressure off Luck, no? Regardless, filling Manning's shoes is going to be next to impossible. Wonder how Indy fans take to this?

As for Griffin. Three 1st round picks, a 2nd and future picks? This kid better be Randall Cunningham, Warren Moon and Vick all rolled into one. He's in deep, especially if the 'Skins don't get the players around him.

I really wanted to root for RG3 but not as a Redskin. Rams could use all those picks, get back to respectability.

I read this post on ESPN.com and thought it was funny: "With this trade, the Redskins should've gotten RG1 and RG2 as well.."

Lol.

Personally, I think if I was the Redskins I would have taken Ryan Tannehill and kept the picks. Not sure he's 6 worthy but that's what I would of done. Maybe Tannehill late 1st or 2nd round.

Rams must be taking lessons from Big Ben on how to rape someone and get away with it.

Redskins need to get some O-Line and V-Jax. Actually they HAVE to, the offense with Jackson, Moss (as a #2), Davis and Cooley at TE is not bad. Maybe they will also grab a RB?

Frustrating part to me is the Lions got so screwed by the lack of a rookie cap that they couldn't pull something similar before. Sure Stafford and Suh are awesome, but NO SINGLE PLAYER will ever equate to those picks. Granted there is never a guarantee that even one of those picks comes to fruition, but still. Not to mention a team can afford to have 10 first round picks with today's rookie cap...and it would still cost less for those 10 than the Lions paid for either Staff or Suh.

Congrats to the Rams though. Sure seems like that will be bigger than the Herschel Walker or Roy Williams trades. Especially if RG3 does not succeed...or has a career ending injury within his first couple years, as any single player potentially is at any given time.

Skins had the balls to pull the trigger....RG3 is going to be a good one , 45 million in cap space and no feesable QB on the roster and really nothing but Manning out there as a FA it's a move they had to make...give Shannahan a year with RG3 and the Skins will be right there in the NFC East....

soo...2 first round picks and a second?....because washington and st louis just swap the other two..which aren't that far off anyways..terrible for just a 4 spot trade up..

not if you get the guy you covet.....

Agree with Slick. They will get the guy they want. Plus, if he ends up being their franchise qb, then it was worth it. We of all teams should know the value of a legit franchise qb...
