Ryan Broyles unhappy with role, vents on Twitter

Really? Based on what? lol

based on broyles is obviously the black wes welker. I mean all you have to do is look at his less than 2 catches per game stat and know hes just ready to be a star. And if catches don't matter to you than you can always look at his 2 touchdowns....a whopping 2/19 (tell me that % off the top of your head!) touchdowns per game! But when you really dig down deep...its broyles character that makes him who he is. When that trainer said get on the bike....he got on...and he rode. and rode. and rode that bike like no one has ever rode that bike before. 3 years later he was still riding that bike like he was chasing after something. And when he looked up with beads of sweat dripping from his forehead....do you know what he saw. yup....a picture of wes welker. Its like a symbology. a metaphor. for what he is to become....but he cant....because then he wakes up and realizes he wasn't riding a bike at all.....he rides the pine! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Oh, Hughes ...smh ;)

Broyles IMO should be given a real shot. He has great hands and runs good routes. He's lost a bit of speed which he didn't have a lot to lose in the first place. But he's got the second best hands on the team. He produced in the preseason better than anyone else. At this point i would look at peacock over fuller too. The dude is never open and struggles catching the damn ball. If ebron is limited this weekend expect broyles to get more work. I think he's a guy that could have a big day.

As long as Fuller does decent enough and Tate stays healthy I doubt Broyles gets time at all..

He should have been in there. I'm tired of him bit seeing the field. He has good hands and still runs good routes. We didn't have any offense for 3 quarters. Try some new stuff Lombardi

Next week, maybe? Anybody heard anything more on TJ Jones? I know he could've played this week if he was ready to go. Once Jones is healthy Broyles is gone one way or the other.

Ever thought he doesn't get it done in Practice? Or maybe his Twitter thing got him in the dog house? Anyway, Fuller had a couple nice plays today who's he going to come in for?

If Broyles is going to be active, then he should play the slot instead of Jeremy Ross. Ross is a returner, not a good WR. If Broyles is inactive, then obviously you leave Ross in the slot.

I wouldn't say ross isn't a good wr. He made a nice play today and has shown the ability to get open. But Broyles always seems to get open when we need it. We actually have pieces stepping up now. It's nice to see.

I'd be hard pressed to say Broyles is better than Ross..
Ross offers more to the team. But as a pure wr Broyles is superior. But i don't know if he isn't practicing well or if he just has no speed left. I'm not sure but to me he looked good in the preseason and I've always liked his hands.

Aaron Brown. Remember him? He was a preseason stud. And Ross is needed because of the return game. So who does Broyles replace? My whole premise is "why does he deserve to be in there?"

Based on what exactly? I'm just not okay with the "he should play" because of preseason and/or hands.

Yeah. Guy was used as an Hback in college, nothing more. Why not put him in a redzone, designed pass play?

Broyles is a better slot option than joique, pettigrew, and thompson. It isn't only preseason he has looked capable. It wasn't much his rookie year but he showed he can make plays in limited games. And in the preseason he looked like the same player. I wonder if he doesn't look very good in practice because his game is more about smarts and finding open zones with nice hands. I don't think he's a game breaker but he is someone you have to look for on third down.

I think if Broyles was a better option than those guys I think he'd be playing. As far as him being a better option than Ross, I completely disagree. Ross has upside. He is a bit raw at receiver but has shown flashes. I'd like to see him continue to get some snaps. I think he could develop into a decent #3 or 4.
