Seattle 23 SF 17 Final NFC title

Glad they fumbled. Want SF to lose but they should have had it in the first place.

NFL gods make it right....no way the ref should have missed bowman laying on the ground with the ball in his hands....how the fuck do you miss that???!!!

How was that not the niners ball and not reviewable.

rule?

geez the niners player banged into the seahawks player and the busted up knee.

Can't review who comes out of the pile with a ball...whoever gets the call on the field gets the ball. That rule will likely be changed this offseason for that very reason, clear possession and down before the pileup.

It's no big deal...just a chance to go to the super bowl.

The bigger question is why owners etc, didn't want that to be a reviewable play???

I would have kicked it. You go up 6 and force them to score a TD against your great D with 8+ minutes to go. If they do, chances are you have time left to get into FG range.

Yup I agree totally...

Blame the statistical revolution. Old school says takes the points.

hes playing field possession....the chances another team goes 99 yards on his defense is very small if he didn't get it. he wasn't planning on marshawn being an idiot.

Thanks cheeno.

Scouting..

Look at the draft, FA, and Trades of Seattle. I know its a high standard but that is talent. Compare us with Seattle and we're not even in the same zip. Same with SF.

8 yards in more than a minute and a half, time management at its finest.
