Seattle 23 SF 17 Final NFC title

The rest of his interviews were all class and normal......if you don't want raw emotion....don't talk to the outspoken guy who made the game winning play 1 minute after the biggest game of his life!

Exactly. When he was at the Fox table he was VERY calm and even had a "whoops" moment when Strahan said he scared Erin Andrews. Can't fault him at all for being amped in an interview that close to a final whistle.

You like hearing a bunch of soundbite talking points drilled into them by the team's PR firm? I don't mind hearing a football player speak his mind. That was how he felt after that play, don't expect a canned answer from a 25 year old who just made the biggest play of his life. Not everyone can be Barry and CJ and Manning and Brady.

Age has nothing to do with it or that moment. You can basically name every other NFL player in the history of the league. Sherman is the only one who has ever done that. It is what it is. I just think it looks like WWE bullshit when he's bringing it to the postgame interview. Obviously it works for him and it's part of his schtick.

Maybe he should be pursuaded to attend the Prince Fielder School of Postgame Playoff Commentary...:hehe:

They both attend the University of Speak Your Mind but unfortunately one of them is enrolled in the School of Clutch Playoff Performances and the other is enrolled in the School of Playoff Disappearing Acts. I doubt they'll be seen on campus together.

No one has ever done that in the history of the NFL? Want me to bring up a video of post game tirades? Richard Sherman is who we thought he was. For that, I let him off the hook.

I was wrong...it wasn't Palantonio....it was Ed Werder. This is what he said...paraphrasing

I told you Crabtree was mediocre. I would never let Crabtree catch a game winner on me. That's a joke.

Is he lying?

I'm wondering what Crabtree or any receiver had to do with the fact that Sherman knocked down a pass from Kaepernik.

Who cares what he says about Crabtree? I am sure Crabtree like Boldin talks shit all game long. Crabtree is a cocky diva, I am sure he could care less what Sherman said.

You should watch Michael Jordan's HOF induction speech.

Full of Me myself and I's and F U's to the doubters.

That guy had 20+ YEARS to write that.

Sherman had about 2 minutes!

There is zero reason to be calling out Crabtree (or any player) from camera to camera. It's not like there was pre game stuff all week and Crabtree was saying he was going to rip Sherman apart and now Sherman gets to gloat about it. You guys are the ones making excuses saying he's young, it's heat of the moment, etc. That's not true. He's an ass. He's always an ass. It's what he does and who he is. I said it's part of his schtick and it works for him. He's the best corner in the game.

All I know is that I lmao. Right or wrong I got a laugh out of it..I don't care what anyone else thought..

Not to mention the greatest trash-talker in the annals of the NBA, Larry Bird. I have no problem with them, (b/c they back it up with their play) but those who make pre-game "guarantees", then get their comeuppance, if not their asses handed to them are the worst, IMO....cough...Lomas Brown...cough...

Saw a replay. After the play, Crabtree out his hands into Sherman's face..

Bottom line for me: false modesty is worse than real emotion, even if it is at someone else's expense. We're not allowed to say to the victor goes the spoils or win 'bragging rights' anymore in the age where everyone is equally good. This is pro football not the fricken UN.

Look at the PR NIGHTMARE Seattle is going through for hiring that rat, cheat Pete Carrol.

Honestly I have doubts about ol' Pete running a clean program in Seattle.

Stop acting like its impossible to cheat at the NFL level. If Seattle wins the SB, it has a taint on it that anyone with a brain knows is there. Ol' Pete is not above cheating to win, whether he is ever found out or not will never change my opinion nor perception about that scumbag.

You want the Lions to win so desperately you are ok if they cheated to win it. Some of us would not find winning in that manner to be a fulfillment. If you don't have the ability to win by not cheating, and you are somehow satisfied through winning by cheating, then I feel very sad for you and hope one day you come to realize it was wrong and actually leaves a hollow feeling that haunts you, eats at you, pains you until you too come to the conclusion it just did not provide the quenching of thirst the way you had initially thought, like being dehydrated and coming upon a puddle of salt water and drinking it all up, initially believing it has satisfied your thirst only to eventually shutdown your body one organ at a time until you either die or discover a pure water source that allows you to actually be satisfied and live to feel the true nourishment and quenching of thirst.

Tressel is high salinity water, ol' Pete is more like irradiated salt water. He may have gotten to the SB, might even win it, but anyone who believes the current Seahawks are not cheating has more faith in him than I do.

Well this sure is a vivid image. How is he going about cheating again though?

True, but IMO they didn't win anything worth bragging about yet. Act like that after winning the Super Bowl is different from still having another team to compete against. Peyton has the ability to understand that so you didn't hear him talk like that. Who would you rather have on the Lions??? I'm tired of listening to fools mouth off when they have yet to win the ultimate prize.

Does it matter? as stated, whether proven or not, if you don't have an eye of distrust on that man then you have an infinite amount of more faith than I do. How many players and coaches have been caught in the NFL the past 10 years?

Did anyone of you know Belichek was cheating before he was busted? what about Sean Payton with the bounty scandal???? Do you think ol' Pete hasn't figured out something?

Who amongst us can say what is or is not happening, but once busted the taint should always be associated in all they do unless some evidence exists to demonstrate otherwise.

Did Pete ever show any remorse for what he did at USC? not to my knowledge. Why would anyone think he isn't trying to cheat to win in the NFL when he has never shown even the smallest amount of remorse for what he did?
