***shaking head in total confusion***

who do you think will have better numbers next year. Tate or Sanders?

Tate 1,000 yards. And if both were in the Lions offense on their own (each as the number 2), I think Tate would have more yards.

cant compare..denver will have more offensive snaps, etc, imo

sure you can. Last year Manning only attempted 25 more passes than Stafford. People are already comparing Tate's numbers from last year to Sanders and they were on different teams then.

Sanders is going to light it up. NE tried to get him last year....peyton wanted him this year. And LKP....we know tate had a very high YAC. So when you say they had the same 20+ yard plays when trying to argue who is a better deep threat. Most of those plays for tate were catch and runs. Doesn't really prove your point...

While they both ran 4.4ish at the combine, sanders has been reported to run low 4.3s. Hes a burner and can run away from people on the outside. That is more what I was looking for in our offense.

Mayhew is going to be the end of me lol.....I read an article that he may be targeting a trade down to get Cooks lmao....I don't know where the source got his info but if theres any truth to it im going to keel over and die and then half of you wont have anything to talk about anymore :D

i suspect they will be similiar, either way, two different teams and comparing numbers is hard. peyton is a more accurate passer

lol, burners dont matter when staffords throwing deep, hes terrible unless youre 6 5 and can jump

Hughes hughes hughes. Tsk tsk tsk. Check your stats before you spout off at the mouth. It's the by pass play stat in the splits.

Tate 6 catches thrown 21-30 yards in the air and 1 31-40
Sanders 5 catches 21-30 in the air and 1 31-40
7 to 6. Tate wins it.

And I love how they had matching speed but you make it that Sanders is 4.3 now somehow.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/splits/_/id/13295/emmanuel-sanders

And Sanders had more targets. Looks to me like Tate is the better deep threat.

And by the way. 2012. 7 to 4 in favor of Tate.

Tate is the deep threat. You are the dumbass threat.

now you somehow change arguments when you are supporting Tate. When it is Wilson vs. Stafford you say Wilson has it so easy in the passing game because it is easy to pass when you have a great run game and Defense. But when you want to talk up Tate you don't mention how easy the passing game is for Seattle because of their great run game and defense. Which way do you want it?

Pittsburgh had Bell and a defense. And Big Ben has a better arm. Easier for Sanders still. Yet Tate is the productive deep threat.

And guess what, the focus will be on Calvin. Life will continue to be easy for Tate deep.

Tate is better at everything really it seems. Got him that extra million per year

And Tate was the number 1, Steelers focus is on Mike Wallace then Antonio Brown. Sanders had it easy.

Steelers Defense was middle of the pack. They had virtually no rushing game as they were ranked 27th in the league. This brings up another question...you say that the Lions have great RBs and O-line and CJ gets all of the safety attention. If that is true why were the Lions 17th in rushing yards and 22nd in rushing yards per attempt? You would think with all of that talent and only facing 6 or 7 men in the box they would dominate in the running game.

Bush had a very good YPC. Bell didn't make teams pay as much but had a lot of short yardage carries too. Plus the Lions don't have a running QB so that skews it some.
