64 days. John Arbeznik OG, 1976-1979. Nickname "Flame", and not for his red hair, but for the time that he nearly "incinerated" his hair with a flaming alcoholic drink. Captain, 1979. Was an instrumental cog in getting Harbaugh to come to Michigan in 2015.

59 days. Steve Strinko, LB, 1972-1974. Team MVP, 1974. All-Big Ten, 2nd-Team All-American, 1974.

In January 1971, Strinko and his parents watched Super Bowl V with Ohio State Coach Woody Hayes at his house. The Strinkos were the only family invited and enjoyed a home-cooked meal prepared by Hayes' (sic) wife Anne. Strinko later recalled that Woody Hayes never got over his decision to attend Michigan.

How did Strinko manage to avoid getting punched in the throat for that snub?

Nice job.

This is the day I would typically start these threads in years past.

Thanks to you and especially byco for keeping this going.
Thanks. Byco's been carrying the bulk of the updates though.

I think the year 2020 kinda screwed me up, because 2018 seems "not that long ago" when it reality it was 5 years ago. Hard to think 2020 was already 3 years ago, and we've won two (2) Big Ten Championships since then.

He was pre-med at one time too; I remember being surprised my friend in Orgo 215 mentioned Dhani Jones was in his class. That class was brutal.

54 days. #54 Don Warner, walk-on to starter on what is Bo's greatest team IMO. No pictures I found on line, so I submit this superior documentary on the 10-10. Tie.
