That has nothing to do with Caldwell. Give me a break, man...lol. These guys age in a snap.

I did say it's not on Caldwell, but there are enough similarities between 2013 Ravens and 2014 Lions to make you pause.

Both had decrease across the board in the offensive department. QB play, RB play and Oline play all decreased while he was a coach.

This year QB play, RB play and Oline play all increased to 2012 levels for the Ravens.

I'm one that tends to put more blame on the players than coaches...but the similarities are slightly concerning.

everyone just magically does better when Caldwell leaves. Its like a leprechaun riding a unicorn whenever Caldwell leaves a program.

I hear ya...but at this point we have to try to have a discussion about what is really going on. I just have a hard time saying....oh everyone that Caldwell works with just automatically becomes old. Caldwell has never been in charge of a solid run game. It is what it is.

The discussion would be the RB's are average and the OLINE, overrated last season, is just not that good. With Gym Shorts or with Caldwell. Not sure that is on him..

or just maybe the schemes are awful?

Raiola/Warford didn't exactly play the same. Plus Warford hurt. Waddle way more hurt this year and no Hilliard (he played 5-6 games in 2013) to rely on (Reynolds/Lucas).

Jeremiah Washburn is a good Oline coach. Saints schemes of past had good protection. Stafford gets it out quick.

We sucked at running the ball prior to warford being hurt. Waddle has never been good at anything really....which is why having a good scheme would be important.

Waddle was good last year in run blocking and this year. Bush has been hurt and regressed. Raiola regressed. Sims can't run block.

We'll get a new LG, Swanson develops and Waddle healthy and Warford back on track. I'm sure that will be the plan unless a good tackle is staring them in the face on draft day.

we had Lewan staring us in the face in the last draft and picked a TE.

not sure next year would be any different

That really bugs me. At the time I wanted a couple others over Lewan but not a TE, damn Mayhew.

A te would be great. We didn't get a TE. we got a cant block worth a darn 3 yard out specialist that cant get open and cant catch. Mayhew wishes he got a TE.

Put me in the bad offense seems to follow Caldwell camp, I've been saying it all year Caldwell has never been associated with good offense when his QB wasn't Peyton manning, it's very troubling, so they scored 34 againts the Bears bfd everybody beats the brakes off that Bears denfense this year, ok great now do it again againts a much better bucs defense Sunday
