Softball Update

Btw.. We had a error in the last game of the Purdue, and i think they said it was the first error in 17 or 18 games. I will have to fact check it.
 
freshmen NATALIA RODRIGUEZ shortstop is a wiz with the glove . She is a treat to watch in the field.

Girls win a pitchers dual today scoring 3 in the top of the 7th two on a 2 run homer by Allen to take game two at college station of Penn st 3-0. Improve to 30-7 and 6-1 in conference.
Meghan Beaubien pitches last couple innings for the win improving to 22-2. Combined 1 hitter today.

Girls run rule Psu for the sweep 11-1 in 5 innings. Team is 31-7 and 7-1 in big ten play.

Msu @ Michigan on espnu tonight at 6pm. Michigan has won the last 19 of 20 in the series but that last loss was in the big ten tournament last season so it still has Hutch mad.

The freshman is not as sharp as I have seen her so far today but that last K was a great pitch. Msu is doing a great job of working her pitch count up. Now a hit batter. She is not on her game so far.

Michigan batters just not working the count. 39 pitches for Michigan's pitcher to only 20 for msu's pitcher.
 
Meagan is wearing a catcher's mask on the mound.

If she were fast enough, she could run back there and catch her own pitches.
 
No one for Michigan is working the count right now.. msu pitcher slow pitch is killing our hitters right now.

It is unimaginable how badly I've seen Michigan run the bases under Hutch; year in and year out...
