RAPID FIRE.
Totally Tigers

With 2 weeks left in the season, all thoughts have turned to the playoffs.
Even with the Tigers. In this season of weird, how should we be viewing October baseball? How seriously should we be taking it? How much does actually having the game being played during this Covid chaos count?
Should we be viewing all of this with or without a filter?

Holly and Kurt share everything-playoff. But they only have 2 sentences each in order to make their points heard. Let?s get to it??

SO YOU WANT TO BE THE MANAGER?
Totally Tigers

Once again, readers get a chance to make their own decisions about the Tigers. So You Want to Be the Manager? offers you that opportunity.
The segment puts our readers to the test in determining how they would handle decisions as the skipper. So, let?s see what your next assignment is as Tiger manager!
(Comments may be extended for this segment, but please do not exceed 8 sentences in your response.)

Jeimer Candelario has completely changed course from what was becoming a disappointing start to his young career with the Tigers. He has had a great 2020 at the plate and is the first Tiger to win the AL Player of the Week since 2018, when Nick Castellanos won the award.
He is currently hitting .333 and leads the team with 28 RBI?s and a .958 OPS.
Jeimer has done all this while playing a different position, taking over first base when CJ Cron was lost to injury early in the season.
With 10 games to play, the Tigers will be heading into the off-season with a decision to make about next year.
Would you consider keeping Candy at first base? Or is he your third baseman for next year? Where would he play on your team?

Please participate in the survey in order to state your case. Don?t forget to come back and check the results and include your comments that support your choice.

Knowing the other players who have auditioned at third base, where would Jeimer Candelario play on your baseball team?

1. First base

2. Third base

3. Other

4. I don't know

THE SATURDAY SURVEY.
Totally Tigers

The Saturday Survey offers readers the opportunity to weigh in on a relevant topic. So here is a poll to gauge the pulse of our baseball-lovin? peeps.
Today, we center the discussion on future position players and if we currently see them in the Tiger lineup every day.
As always, we welcome your comments, so please vote and then submit your reasons (4 sentences max!) for how you voted in the usual comment box. Don?t forget to come back later and view the results!

With just 2 weeks left in the season, the Tigers continue to make some moves between Detroit and Toledo as they figure out which players will be part of the future. We?ve seen a number of prospects go back and forth from the ?alternate site? ? some sticking and some not.
Given what you?ve seen to this point, how far along are the Tigers in this rebuild? Is the nucleus of a new team starting to form? Or is the team still trying to collect the right pieces?
Today, we?re asking you to share your thoughts ? and votes ? on where Detroit is in the rebuilding process. For the moment, let?s ignore the starting pitchers and relievers and focus on the position players (excluding DH).
Out of the 8 defensive positions, how many slots do you believe the Tigers have filled heading into the future?

Please participate in the survey in the interests of sharing where readers stand on how many future starters we are watching play right now.
How many of these players will still be with the team and be part of the named starters at the beginning of the 2022 season?

1. 5 or more.

2. 4

3. 3

4. 2

5. 1

6. 0

7. Not sure / too soon to tell.
