QUESTIONS, COMMENTS, KUDOS AND CONCERNS.
Totally Tigers

Today, our writers take another look at the events of the past week and choose a direction for each of the 4 categories.

Looking at the previous week through Sunday, what were the most memorable things we saw happen that were worthy of questioning, praise, observation and a warning?

We will give Kurt and Holly a maximum of 2 sentences each to support their claims.

Let?s kick this off?

SO YOU WANT TO BE THE MANAGER?
Totally Tigers

Once again, readers get a chance to make their own decisions about the Tigers. So You Want to Be the Manager? offers you that opportunity.

The segment puts our readers to the test in determining how they would handle decisions as the skipper. The Tigers are literally in need of a new manager, so here is your chance to show them how you would handle the job. Here is your next assignment.

(Comments may be extended for this segment, but please do not exceed 8 sentences in your response. )

Daniel Norris is experiencing his most consistently effective run as a Tiger.
He seems to have settled into that middle relief role. He has a very respectable 3.12 ERA coupled with a 1.15 WHIP and 25 strikeouts over 26 innings of work.

Norris needed this season to right the ship to both get healthy and pitch well again. But he has always been considered a starter when it comes to the future of the rotation.

Do you give it another go with Daniel as a starter in 2021 or let him continue to master a role in the pen?

Please participate in the survey in order to state your case. Don?t forget to come back and check the results and include your comments that support your choice.

With experience both as a starter and certainly this year in the pen, how would you use Daniel Norris in 2021?
1. Give him another shot at the rotation to begin 2021.
2. Use him in combination with an opener, a role in which he has fared quite well.
3. Keep him in the middle relief role, it appears to be his niche.
4. They have tried just about everyone in the closer role, he should get his chance.
5. Not sure.
6. Other.
