17 INTs is bad for a season no matter how you look at it. Of course....his season isn't over yet. Maybe he can get up to 23!
Great QBs have had 17 in a year. You just need other stats too go with it.

this is true. The problem with Stafford is he has played 4 seasons (not counting the 2010 where he played 3 games) and these are his INT totals
20
16
17
17+?
17 INT aren't bad for a season, if he was competing 65% of his passes it wouldn't look so bad. Yesterday was more misses to guys wide open. His 58% is 30th in the league.
Like I so said. Look at 2010. He completed 63.5% of his passes and had over 40 TD. By themselves 17 INT aren't terrible.
Yeah. I agree the numbers don't look good. Lions do lead the league in drops, and how many of Staffords interceptions are deflections off wide receivers hand right to a db? I'm not trying to make excuses, just throwing it out there.
It's going to take another stud receiver to make Staffords numbers look better than he is. I don't think there is a worse qb in the league right now.

Mike Evans. Along with CJ and Fauria and the catch radius of these guys is the a two car garage each. He can go on being as scattershot as fuck.
