Agree about fields. Call me intrigued with lance and when we interviewed urban. Trade down is the only hope for this team at this point.

Yup i agree 100% rebuild thru the draft. Having goff will 100% eliminate taking a qb at 7. So were not rebuilding thru the draft are we? That's why I'm pissed.

Understood. Patience isn't one of my strengths. The first thing i said about this trade is im happy with the value. The downside is the rebuild has been put on hold.

Lions new GM said were in full rebuild and he?s looking at least 2 years out and every move he makes.

He was one of the very few guys outside the organization that new how badly Rams wanted Goff outta there. He took them for every penny he could. Yes Goff may be overpaid(majority of QBs are) but we pay people to figure out cap situations. No big deal!

We?re strapped w extra draft ammo the next 2 seasons. Time for Holmes to go to work!

As neutral as I am with Goff, he has shown high-level ability. If they can find some of that old magic, it saves them from having to go through the QB rebuild.

However, I still want Fields. That's my guy; I really hope they draft him. If not, I'll have to live with whatever they decide on for their future. I really don't like the guys next year TBH.

Goff- I understand that. I don't think he'll be here very long.

Draft capital- I'd much rather them get two future firsts than just one first this year. It will help MUCH better with the rebuild.

Cap- who cares? No one's coming here. And the last time we had a ton of cap space, the available free agents were crap.

Fun- You thought this team was going to be fun to watch? How? Wouldn't having a more functional QB make them more fun?
