It is one thing to say you want the QB gone, it is entirely different to specifically identify who will replace him and be a winning QB. That is unknown.
You will want to counter that anyone is better than Stafford, but that isn't true. So much more depends on coaching, the schemes and emphasis a given system has.
He makes bad decisions, but that is amplified by the scheme that results in him throwing too often and anemic run attack. Put him in a system that is a balanced attack, where having close to 5.0 ypc and over 100 rush yards per game, simplify the passing game and blocking schemes. That is the type of offense Stafford needs. He needs a team with a strong D as well.
While he can throw for many yards, he is constantly playing from behind. Behind on the scoreboard, behind the chains...too frequently behind. Then, when he jumps out to a big early lead, there isn't a run game and D there to support the lead and chew up clock and yardage and increase the lead.
Give him a solid running attack and D, he will win. Ask him to be Mr. Everything and he more often loses.
