t?Official Michigan in the 2019 College World Series Thread

Ark and FSU are scoreless through 7. FSU up in the top of the 8th. Ark took out their starter, who was absolutely sitting people down. Reliever comes in and takes FSU down 123. Ark now up in the bottom of the 8th.

FSU takes a 1-0 lead batting still in top of the 9th.
1-0 bottom 9th.

FSU beats Arkansas 1-0.

Michigan vs Fsu Monday.

With Texas Tech vs Arkansas in a elimination game Monday.

2 more wins in a row and we in the Final. Man, would that be something. If we lose(to FSU), we would have to win 3 in a row to make Final.

Tommy Henry been on fire.

If he takes a lead through seven can bring Kaufman back on two days rest to get the last eight outs.

Then Criswell starts Wednesday. He takes a lead through seven and bring in Henry on two days rest to get the last eight.

Then to the finals with the weekend starters.

Or could bring Criswell back to close on Monday after two innings of relief Saturday, and bring Kaufman on three days rest to get the third win in the bracket, and have Criswell ready to close his third game in five days.

Btw I just saw on btn that Michigan is now 1-7 all-time verses Texas Tech. Please Tell me one team starting a freshmen wasn’t looking past Michigan. Just my opinion. I know he is one the hottest Tech pitcher but my guess is Tech pretty much that this was a layup after out scoring us 29-10 in a three game sweep in Lubbock.

Texas Tech post game. Starts around the 7 minute mark. The Texas Tech coach had a lot of nice things to say about Michigan. He said one of the biggest differences between today and the three game sweep in March is we kicked the ball around a lot and gave them extra outs which we didn?t do today.

I know, right?

I?m gonna bitch about that bullshit until the first pitch of Michigan?s next game Monday at 7 pm Eastern.

That shit reminds me of when the California Angels didn?t play Bobby Abreu and Tori?s Hunter back in 2011 on their last game of the season but instead put in two guys up from the minors in an expanded roster and they ended up losing to the Texas Rangers, which resulted in the Rangers getting home-field advantage against the Detroit Tigers in the ALCS.

If not for that, the Tigers would?ve won the World Series that year.

That shit still chaps my ass, to this day.

I KNow

It chapped my ass the way the Texas Tech players were timing their time-outs right as the Michigan pitcher would go into his throwing motion. I thought it was a deliberate attempt to get the pitcher out of his rhythm and the ump was just letting them do it over and over.

He definitely was doing that. It was really frustrating. So glad Criswall K?d that last batter. Early in the 8th or 9th he was really irritated with one time stoppage that is for sure.

Other side of the bracket.

Vanderbilt 3 Louisville 1 Final.
Mississippi St. 5 Auburn 4 Final.

Msu 28 come from behind wins in a game Auburn probably deserved to win. They score 4 in the bottom of the 9th being helped by Auburn with multiple Errors. Auburn really kicked this game away. I feel real bad for the Auburn 3rd basemen.

Didn't Auburn win the SEC that way? There was an SEC championship game that ended with one team completely melting down (mostly the catcher)

You could be right. I am unsure but that was a complete melt down by the third basemen.
First he could have tagged the runner that was running right by him. Second he took like 4 crow hops before throwing to first base which he air mailed. Then on the next play which was a dribbler to him he made decent play but double clutched his throw to first base. And that was enough for the Speedy runner to beat out the throw. The winning run was a ball hit to the pitcher (high hopper) he tipped it and the second basemen booted the ball if I am remembering it right. I doubt he gets the runner at first anyway it was so in the hole behind 2nd base. I think Mississippi st has like 28 come from behind wins now.
