amazing game by Tommy Henry and the rest of the team. They are really on a roll. We just need 1 win to make the champ series and 3 wins to win it all.
 
Tommy Henry box?s score. With the 1-1 teams beating themselves up Michigan gets to rest it?s starters 3 days..Hopefully other teams will forget about our K?s hitting. Team has trouble laying off breaking pitches like most college teams. Michigan K?d 17 Times. Henry complete game 10 k 0 bb performance with 2 Hbp and only 3 hits. Wow !

Nice to see a Michigan kid do well. Henry went to Portage Northern. They also beat Rockford this year 10-4 for d1 baseball title.

I think a heard on btn Henry had 10 k?s tonight , and broke a season single record for Strikeouts for Michigan. All 10 strikeouts Henry started the count 0-1. Amazing.
First inning he had 20 pitches. Next three he was under 10.

This old coach for FSU is pretty laid back. This was before today?s game. He had a lot of great thinks to say about Michigan and coach Bakich. I hope Michigan wins this whole thing but if we don?t I guess Fsu would be ok. It is so weird that programs like fsu and um are big time underdogs to the other six teams.

Amazing 3 hitter, just amazing. Now.........its time for the bats to wake up. They've been slowed a bit because of the competition getting better every game, but I think an explosion is past due. 3 games worth of explosions would be fine by me.

Agree W. Hopefully whoever we match up against has some tired arms we can take advantage of! Our hitters need to make the adjustments on the breaking pitch I think More then anything, and even though we did strikeout 17 times to FSU 10 times I thought some of our strikeouts were longer type at bats. At least I think. Our hitters do like to work the counts. I love that.

Yeah, they tired out FSU's starter. I was doing the math around the third inning I think, and it seemed like he could go the distance at the # pitches/ inning to that point. and then all of the sudden it seemed like his pitch count skyrocketed.

I dont know if you knew, but speaking of breaking pitches, the Vanderbilt kid who threw the no hitter threw all breaking balls and got 19Ks. Just read it on the ticker.
 
Anyway, its raining like a motherfucker Omaha and they are determined to get this game in with Auburn and Louisville. They wont be out of the woods for a while as we are still dealing with thunderstorms in Wyoming and Utah.
 
I read this today: No Big Ten team had stood 2-0 in the College World Series since 1966. But the Wolverines are. Impressive.
