I can confirm that I was joking. And it was pretty clear at the time, too. He tried to turn it into an opportunity to talk shit. I should have let it go, there's no way an osu fan will ever admit that they have a semi-pro team even though there's plenty of evidence to show that they are operating outside of the rules.

The reason Michigan doesn't beat OSU is because they remain convinced they are better, so they don't actually get better. Last year Higdon guaranteed victory in Columbus, which is just silly. Post-game, Winovich explained the rout away by calling it a mirage. This year Khaleke comes up with this gem:

Meanwhile, these knuckleheads finish their careers without ever knowing what a win against OSU feels like. That's not unusual for 21st century Wolverines, obviously, but the never ending chatter fuels the Buckeyes for next year and the year after and so on and so forth.

It doesn't matter if the players say these things or not. We'll lose either way. So who cares?
