The Colts dump Gosder

Luck and TY take precedent over his bloated contract.

Andrew Luck doesn't need OL help...remember? They just load up on offensive weapons every year because Luck isn't that good.

sarcasm - off

Great job Mayhew rolling with Waddle/Lucas. Smart GM.

Wait a minute....How could a QB have playoff wins and have a top 10 season with a poor RT? I thought that was impossible. I feel so lied to on these boards.

LG/Center issues in Detroit too with old guys. We upgraded with Man Ram and Laken the Jamaican. Our RG was hurt as well. Reiff missed important at Pats game.

Indy plays in junk AFC South.

Better run support in Indy last year.

Again not true. Support would be the benefit they receive from other players, so support would be the rushing stats less their own contribution. Since Luck is a better athlete than Stafford, he shouldn't be punished because he has more talent. So lets take out the QBs contribution and see what we get:

Rush Support for Luck: 1339 Yards on 351 Carries: 3.8 YPC
Rush Support for Staff: 1329 Yards on 353 Carries: 3.8 YPC

Luck and Stafford essentially had the same amount of talent around them on offense. The only difference between their production was their own physical talent. It's a good illustration on what the difference a QB can make on the offense.

Oh yeah, Trent Richardson is just a threat out of the backfield. Teams line up to stop that guy.

Luck was only sacked 27 times. Stafford 45. Luck also threw more picks than Stafford. 18 more sacks, 18 less TDS by Stafford. Not a coincidence.

And the AFC South is bad. Stafford is as good as Luck. Stafford has a 40 TD season too

And lucks' weapons stayed heatlhier. Hilton, Fleener, Moncrief and Wayne. Nicks as a number 4 (former 1st round pick).

Lions had injuries to Calvin and TEs and Oline. Colts Oline just sucks, Lions had injuries to Oline.

And doesn't the fact that the Colts' oline sucks make what Andrew Luck does that much more impressive??? I think you just had a little foot in mouth moment there.

AFC South sucks. Luck has plenty of weapons. It's not impressive what Luck did. Stafford 2014 is more impressive.

3 years- Andrew Luck has three playoff wins.
6 years- Matthew Stafford has none.

That's all that matters. You can throw all the excuse bullshit you want. He's a winner, Stafford is not.

Luck is progressively improving. Stafford is a rollercoaster.

The Lions have a rougher road year to year to make the playoffs than the Colts do. The Lions have to play GB, Chi and Minn in their division while the Colts gets Tenn, Jax and Houston. The colts can be half a sleep and get to 6 wins.

Luck wins at home. Shitty division, gets some home games. Then Pats destroy him at Foxboro (but people jump all over Stafford for losing to Pats this year). Pats went 10-0 at home this past year.

Peyton was done this year and they scored 13 points against a bad Colts D.

I don't think anyone jumped on Stafford about the NE game, that was an un-winnable contest.

Luck wins, period. He led one of the biggest playoff comebacks against KC, and also won... get this... a ROAD PLAYOFF GAME.

Stafford can't even win a road game against a winning team in the regular season.

Denver scored 13. Stafford wins if Cowboys score 13. Stafford had a better QB rating in both the Saints and Cowboys games than Luck had in the Denver game (luck threw 2 picks).

Wait. last year picks didn't count in wins.

If you were GM of a team and they said for next year you could have Stafford or Luck, and you chose Stafford...Well that would tell us all we need to know about your ability to read game tape. You would be fired the next second.

If they chose Stafford over Luck (if both available in the same draft), it would be Darko lite.
